This is place is such a gem - Good location for getting around - short taxi ride to Pelourinho - o ryou can take a bus from just outside. Also close to Barria - so really decent. The guest house itself is stunning, just a beautiful piece of architecture and interior design. The room was huge and immaculately clean. I...

We arrived in the Pousada after a delayed night flight and were really tired and too late for breakfast. But Augusta, the most charming hostess of this Pousada, made sure a very charming and tasty breakfast was waiting for us in the lovely dining/living area of the Pousada. We immediately felt very welcome and being taken care of. The house...

The owner was wonderful, helpful, etc. The pousada itself was lovely. The only disappointment is that our room was literally 20 feet from the breakfast table, with open air style room and bathroom (which was also open air and 20 feet from the breakfast table), it was uncomfortable to me. My traveling partner didn't mind, but it bothered me. We...

Hello Heidi, Thank you for taking your time to write us a kind and constructive review! In fact, this was the first complaint about the noise from the kitchen, but, from now, we'll take measures to avoid this noise, such as closing the kitchen and living room doors before the breakfast time. Kind Regards, Pedro

We had the suite which i recommend. This hotel is a work of someone with excellent artistic taste. A former upper class home turned into a quality b and b. As others have noted, the food each day was unique and highly creative. Staff were very helpful.

The Owners were very warm, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Augusta and Thales are brother and sister, they have created a wonderful little place that feels like home. The breakfasts were fabulous a different surprise everyday. The staff is so helpful from making reservations at restaurants to booking a taxi. Coffee, Tea or a delightful Cocktail is at your...

Wow - this was a memorably great stay, for two reasons - the breakfasts were so good that they were almost worth the entire price of the stay just for those, each of them 3-4 incredible courses, talk about getting the day started right - and two, the service was incredible, with the two owners (brother and sister) extremely helpful...

I stayed here while in Salvador for a conference. I didn't want to stay in the main hotel. This casa had very nice reviews online so I decided to give it a shot. And you can't beat the prices. Staff were easily accessible via email. They seemed very nice even via our conversation. On arrival, I believe Pedro was at...

This place is a real gem and set the standard for our trip, which was not beaten wherever we went in Brazil. Augusta and Pedro arranged for our cab pickup at the airport late at night, which was a great help. Their hospitality was fantastic, the breakfast marvelous and substantial. The place was spotless. Our room was comfortable and clean...
