We stayed at this Pousada for 3 nights / 3 days, paying R$1000/each. I did not expect any luxury given the fact that we were staying in the Amazon forest however I could never expect to pay a lot of money to stay in a poorly maintained bungalow and left on our own by the owners of this property during...

The place is far enough from Manaus to make it a real jungle experience, but not so far to require multi-day travel or airfare to get there. It's 55 miles as the crow flies, but you'll get there in 2-3 hours by van, then boat (where you will see the meeting of the waters of the Rio Solimoes and Rio...

We stayed at the Pousada Mamori Lodge for 3 nights to have a great Amazon jungle experience. Firstly, we arrived and our room had no A/C (this was promised at booking) which meant the nighttime temperature was over 25degrees C (85F).
