We were recommended to stay here from people who stayed 4 years earlier. I can see it has potential but the place has clearly run down quite allot over the last few years. It wasn't expensive but we did find other accomodation for the same price and both places were so much better. Pool was cloudy. Lots of mold and...

The hostel is a little far from the main square where restaurants and Coroico's center is located: Though the 10-15 min walking are worth it, if you are looking for a quite and nature place. There are many beautiful pants and trees surrounding the hostel area. The hostels best asset is its amazing view to the valley with huge mountain...

This hotel has some of the rudest and unpleasant staff that we have come across in South America. We were met by an extremely rude and aggressive women who yelled at us and told us the room was not ready. We would have left then and there but we were feeling tired after our trip from La Paz. When our...

This was my favorite hotel/restaurant in this price range in Coroico. However, on my most recent visit, the service was exceptionally bad and they wanted to charge me for juice for breakfast even though the menu said it was included. The food is still good however and the rooms are nice but the staff seemed overwhelmed/unfriendly. A definite shift from...

We stay at El caetal 2 nights to relax after climbing mountains in the Cordillera Real. With its great pool and an amazing view, this was a great choice. As it´s a 10min walk from Coroico center it is really quiet. We paid 100bolivianos for a double room with shared bathroom and the prestations where in line with what to...

After reading all the reviews on here we were steeling ourselves for a terrible experience! Quite the opposite.... we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend it... Yes it is a little walk into town but nothing too taxing. If you don't want to walk into town everything you need is at the hostel but a nice stroll into...

The views from the hostal are fantastic, however the beds are ridiculously noisy every time you move, the pillows stink and when we went to the pool we were told by I think the owner that we couldn't go in the water after we put sun screen on! A big walk into town as well, although it's only 10 bolivianos...

To make it short: the place is a bit expensive, but nice. But the owners where SO incredible unfriendly to me. In my whole travel for several years I didnt made one experience that bad. I was the only guest and without one nice word, good morning, small talk etc. the send me away from the nice spots in the...

The place is nicely situated at the edge of town and has stunning views. The food in the restaurant is pretty good to. However, a bit more enthusiasm and effort of the owner wouldn't harm. We arrived in the evening and almost had to beg for some boiling water and a spoon. We've experienced much better hospitality in Bolivia.

the hotel is undoubted beautiful! the private rooms are spacious and clean, there is a lush garden with pool and amazing views. but what definitely makes me dislike the place is the attitude of the french owner and as well the bolivian cook. there is no welcoming vibe, all they want from you is money. everyday they would ask very...
