Our bus was delayed due to brake trouble on the Death Road. When we got in around midnight they had kept the kitchen open so they could provide hot sandwiches. We had a lovely little cabin atop a hill. They only trouble was climbing and climbing with only a flashlight to show the way. They staff was helpful in getting... More

This place is paradise. It rained most of the time we were there and we didn't even mind, it was so gorgeous. Everything in this hotel is pretty and serene. There are hammocks and lots of pools. There are flowers everywhere and the sounds of so many birds. Our room was comfortable with big windows and a very good bed.... More

The best place in Bolivia to chill and rest during long trip. The garden is awesome, far from the crowd and like a jungle. Fantastic view, hummingbirds, huge butterflies. Plus really tasty food. With food a little bit expensive, but totally worth it! :) WiFi just in common area, rooms not very high standard, but that's not the point.

Stop searching, this is where you need to stay! Such good value, such a beautiful property. The reception has a wealth of information on what to do around the area. It is quite the walk up the hill, but there is a decent shortcut, so don't let that put you off. The WiFi was not very good however. And the... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights and it was the most wonderful and special place. Waking up in the sub-tropical mountains each morning with the sound of exotic birds all around was truly paradise. The lodge is very quiet and relaxing, guests were respectful and friendly. The hosts were wonderful and the food delicious! The local scenery... More

I stayed in saya room for two days, the view and gardens are a picture of paradise. Breakfast was pantagruelic and the restaurant and tropical juices were wonderful as well. I agree they should invest in better mattresses. I think people that complain about the steep walk to certain cabins are rather lazy... Its not a big deal, the same... More

We spent three nights at Sol y Luna and absolutely loved it. In our little cabin - 'Nectar' - we would wake up in the mornings and have breakfast on our balcony next to hummingbirds and with a gorgeous view of the rainforest and hills. The cabin was rustic and very cosy, with wood and stone floors, a well-equipped kitchen... More

Great hostel to spend a few days in Coroico. It’s 20 min walk uphill from town but it has all the peace and quiet you need. There’s 5 dollar Yoga lessons in the morning, massages and a pretty good restaurant. The views are also amazing and the place has two pools and a “Jacuzzi” (they charge extra money for the... More

My friends and I stayed in the double apartments with two beds and a kitchen/bathroom. The beds need updating as they are lumpy and old. But the rooms were spacious and the kitchen functional .The hotel is fairly old and the rooms we stayed in were looking a bit tired. It could use some upgrading and spiffing up, but as... More
