Central hotel, clean, with pleasant staff. Room fine, at the back, so quiet, although bed lumpy! Bathroom fine with hot water on demand. Breakfast OK and parking available. Prices double 5,100 DZ, single 4,200 DZ

After having booked two times a room in Hotel Timgad, in 2014, I have chosen again this hotel, for a week, at the end of November 2015. I found again its most important strengths: I.Excellent location in midtown, II.Old style French tradition, III.High quality-price ratio,IV.Excellent free of charge Wi-Fi connection, V.Good local dishes in its own restaurant. VI.Friendly desk employees... More

Location of the hotel is good in that it is very central, within walking distance to most of the sites in the city . Unfortunately it is located on the intersection of two main streets with the tram line in front. I had a room in front of the hotel and it was very noisy throughout the night. Very nice... More

I had board and lodging in this hotel, two times - in February (one week) and April 2014.(11 nights). As a non-official quality auditor, I found that this 3-stars hotel is an excellent choice for a discovery travel in Oran for following reasons: 1. Excellent location (at the crossing point of streets Emir Abdelkader and Mohamed Khemisti, at only 500m... More

Not for those on expense account travel but an acceptable small hotel in the centre of the city and only a few yards from the royal hotel jwhich serves a good value up market buffet as most eateries aren't that great . I wouldn't rave about breakfast but the liptons tea was great . Outside there is a booze shop... More

From outside it may look a bit wary but it is very comfortable with a good breakfast and nice staff. Wi Fi mainly works in the Lobby and there is an elevator but I would take the stairs. New Tram Line is just outside, will advise people to walk around the area ( the square if it is open) and... More

It's a good hotel (check website http://www.hotel-timgad.com) - quite 1960s-style, but good quality, clean, good breakfast and excellent service. Internet (Wifi) at the moment only in the lobby, which is big enough for various people to sit and work there. I booked before with a reservation via fax, all went v. well. Do book the suit if you can aford... More
