I understand that hotel has been renovated few months ago- now is very modern, with modern (and huge) room and bathroom (very clean also), and fancy lobby and bar. Breakfest is good also, and hotel staff are professional and kind. Central position, few minutes walk from everything in city of Shkoder. Definitely recommended! Drinks at hotel bar are very cheap!

Rozafa Hotel is located in the centre of Shkoder. The hotel is in a typical communist era styled building. The rooms have not been refurbished in many years if ever. Don’t be fooled by the nice lobby... The rooms are painted in pink, the furnishings are worn and the halls are in a miserable condition. But even thou this is...

The hotel is very old, inside of rooms u can find old Soviet-style furniture, bad bathroom and fresh air because of old windows and blowing wind. Also be prepared to wake up at 5.30 because of loud singing for pray from minaret of mosque right in front of ur window.

Thank you for the review on our hotel. We know our weaknesses and we hope you give us another chance to change your opinion. We have reconstructed the hotel from July 2016, and we have tried to post as many pictures of the new rooms. As I read, the only thing "not good" in our hotel were the room conditions,...

The only good things that this hotel offers is the view of the center of Shkoder, the reasonable price for a room and there were wi-fi, but only in the hall. Now let start with the cons of staying there. At first place, when we entered the hotel at the reception was written 4 stars and we thought it was...

And that includes a good breakfast. The lobby, coffeeshop and restaurant are trendy and upmarket but the 1st floor rooms are old ... They are however adequate and clean, the bathroom is fine and my room even had a balcony, that is Room 105. The staff is welcoming. Beware of the loud prayer call at 4.55 am.

For some reason, hotel prices in Shkoder seemed higher than normal for centres outside Tirana. The Rozafa Hotel is an exception. The rooms have not been updated or seen a paint brush since the place opened in the 1960's. When I appeared at the reception counter to inquire about a room, the receptionist looked me over and while giving me...
