Located in a quite and peaceful surrounding and yet it's near to all amenities. With train station almost at the door step and malls with supermarkets just within less than five minutes walk. Room was very clean and I've got a super view of the city. Restaurant in the hotel served very good Japanese food, but must bear with the...

My 4th visit to the Daiwa Roynet. We generally stay for around 4 weeks at a time in Hamamatsu. Very good hotel with extremely clean, modern rooms which have comfy beds, and great bathrooms (complete with Washlets, of course). Decent speed WIFI, but the wired internet is faster. TV a little disappointing, as only very few Western satellite stations are...

Big and stylish room with very good bathroom. Excellent location near the railway station. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and very good service. I was surprised of the quality and the price of this hotel. If going again to Hamamatsu, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Enjoyed staying here for business. Near to everything. Clean stylish rooms. Friendly service. Nice Japanese breakfast. For beer fans, try the German brewery at Main Schloss (15 min walk) or Beer House Tir nan-Og (10 min walk)

I spent one night in this hotel and I've been surprised by overall quality. Room is small for European standard, but bigger than most of Japanese ones, furniture are new and also style is appreciable. it's the first time I experience check in/out made by machine, a kind of ATM. Breakfast is in a japanese restaurant, impossible to enjoy for...

As others have noted, this is a new, central & very reasonably priced business hotel. The main station is 2 minutes walk away, there is a large dept store in between & a convenience store at the hotel entrance. For the money I paid (under US$80 for a single clean room including a perfectly adequate breakfast) it is very hard...

The Daiwa Roynet is one of the newest hotels in Hamamatsu - and it's good for a business trip. As with all of these type of hotels in Japan the rooms are small, but it's clean, functional and a decent place to stay. Facilities are basic (no hotel bar) and the breakfast is a little extreme - traditional Japanese style...

“Well, my room number was 1111, super city view!”

“For a quiet night, ask for a higher room facing away from the main street. The convenience store below opens 24/7 and with pedestrians walking past this busy station area until late at night, it may be a problem since the small window is not double-glazed. I had no problem but then I wore earplugs.”

“Ask for a room with a good view, I stay at 814 facing to Hamamatsu Post Office, nice view. And...don't forget to close your window & curtain before you fall asleep, or you'll be disturbed by the birds sounds and by it cold wind..”
