I stayed here with my girlfriend when we were taking a morning ferry out to the San Juan Islands for a whale watching cruise. The cabins were comfortable and quaint, and the view of the islands was breathtaking. The hotel let me park there during the day of the ferry too for added convenience.

We decided to stay here last minute and I am so glad we did! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating of us and our little one. We were upgraded to a suite to allow for a separate room for our little one to sleep in. The suite was formerly the manager's apartment and was so much more than we...

We booked this hotel because we were scheduled on an early ferry, so I wasn't really expecting much. But, it was darling and one of my favorite places we stayed on this trip. Beautiful view and a nice staff. It has been recently remodeled, so it is clean and fresh but still retains a quaint charm. They have a little...

Visting family in the area, my 3rd stay here. They have since changed owners and have made some great changes. Breakfast is much bigger and had many more options. I loved the biscuits and gravy and even killed most of a huge waffle. Rooms now have new linen's and complimentary bottled water. Prices seem to have stayed the same as...

I booked a room at this hotel when my family and I were travelling from Vancouver, BC. I booked a room on their website two hours prior to arrival from Whitby Island. I had asked for a pet free, 2 bedroom, 2 queen bed room. Someone from the hotel responded to me via email while I was travelling but I...

The hotel is about 3 miles out of town, so grab supplies on your way to stay, as there are no restaurants or stores close. It's a cute little place, the staff are friendly and helpful. However, our room (jacuzzi room) smelled musty and left me with allergy symptoms by checkout. No Kleenex for my stuffy nose, but plenty of...

Ship Harbor I, Guest Relations Manager at Anacortes Ship Harbor Inn, responded to this review

Thank you for the tips Stacy! I'm glad you enjoyed our staff, everyone tries really hard to make every guest happy here. I'm sorry about the room smelling musty i'm afraid to say our beautiful island view location makes us very susceptible to that developing in the rooms that generate a lot of humidity. Our housekeepers can remedy this during...

We found Ship Harbor Inn unexpectedly and are glad we did! It is three miles from the main drag of Anacortes and very quiet. The rooms are all harbor view, and have one queen bed in each of two separate sleeping areas, divided by the vanity area--perfect for our group of three adults. There appeared to be a few larger...

Thank you for the kind words Momx10, I'm glad you stumbled upon us. Many refer to our hotel as the hidden gem. All of our rooms do have beautiful island views. I'm glad the Double Queen on Two Rooms worked out well for your trip. With two bedrooms separated by a vanity and bathroom many find this room type perfect...

Visited Anacortes on March 14 and stayed the night here. Very clean room and they allowed our dog to stay for a small charge. Plan to stay at Ship Harbor on every visit. They serve a free breakfast and there is a Keurig in the room.

My husband and I with our little Havenese spent a weekend in Anacortes. We stayed at the Ship Harbor Inn and were a little disappointed. The room was clean, but small. Contential breakfast was included with the stay but the waffle machine wasn't working. What was disappointing, they charged $35 for the dog, nothing was in the room to show...

I had the most wonderful experience staying at the Ship Harbor Inn. We arrived at dusk to a lit up hotel seemingly out of a novel, with a warm greeting from Jason. Our room was just what we needed with a view of the water. We went into downtown Anacortes for a perfect meal at A Town Bistro. Returning to...
