Our weekly meeting room is at The Henry Clay Inn. The owner is gracious and helpful when we need something and always takes time to speak. My experience with them has been positive and fellow Rotarians that have had their Sunday Brunch tell me it's quite good.

My daughter and I stayed at the Henry Clay Inn for 2 nights. The Innkeepers were so thoughtful and thorough. They do not miss a beat. We had a room on the first floor back of the building. You can go onto the porch and right to the parking area from your room, great feature. It was quiet even when...

Nice stay. The room was clean, updated. Comfy bed, surprisingly quiet given proximity to tracks. Good location, friendly hosts, excellent breakfast. Great porches both off of common area and off of room. Looks like a lot of the problems in other reviews were under old management; we didn't have any of the issues mentioned.

I have stayed here numerous times. The Inn is under new management. The provided breakfast is cooked to order: eggs, bacon, toast, bagles, cereal, juices, etc. New management is updating the rooms which are nice. Room rates are mid range for this type of inn. The inn is historic and located behind the Amtrak station. Frequent trains but the noise...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Henry Clay Inn, and I can highly recommend it. One of my previous jobs was doing hotel site selection for conferences so I take special interest in accommodations. LOCATION is not far off I-95 north of Richmond immediately adjoining the attractive Randolph-Macon College campus, and across a one-lane street from the railroad...

We were looking for an inn to stay at before taking a morning train to New York City. Located just north of Richmond and right next to the main line this proved to be the perfect place.
