After having a few less than pleasant experiences in the past, I am usually pretty apprehensive about booking getaways without a personal recommendation from a close friend. But when the Living Social offer for Fairview came out, it looked too good to pass up. I felt comfortable with the Trip Advisor reviews and figured I would make the trek with...

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Fairview and had a wonderful experience. We traveled along the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the amazing views, hiked Crabtree Falls and enjoyed visiting some of the local wineries. A perfect way to get away from DC and see and enjoy the "real Virginia". Jennifer is an amazing host that genuinely cares for...

My husband & I went to celebrate our anniversary. She gave us "The Lilac Room" with a private bath, (it could be either). The room was the fairly large with lots of windows. I loved the decor and the way the morning sun came into the room. The whole house was tastefully decorated and the food was delicious! We spent...

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Fairview to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. Jennifer was very welcoming and made us feel quite at home. We loved staying in the White Room with its whirlpool bath! We had a quiet wedding dinner catered by Jennifer. The food was wonderful and the accompanying music made for a wonderful romantic celebration....

We thoroughly enjoyed the Fairview. House and antiques are beautiful, setting peaceful with view of mountains, close to Blue Ridge Parkway, Jennifer provides a warm welcome and great food and it is hard to find a place with just sounds of nature. Enjoyed hiking to Crabtree Falls and crossing the Blue Ridge to visit the neat town of Lexington. The...

Wonderful little hideaway in the mountains! Not only is the property stunning, but Jennifer is a great cook and wonderful hostess. My husband is a nature lover, but even I, a city lover, could not have been more impressed with our weekend. There is plenty to do in the area as it is surrounded by many great wineries and breweries,...

"As soon as we entered into the Fairview a smile grew across our faces as we saw a little piece of heaven before us.  To the sweet smell of honeysuckle that filled the air within the Fairview to the breathtaking views, this truly was a home away from home.  Every detail was adhered to such as the fresh flowers in...

This was an incredible trip for us. If you are looking for romance, history, organic food, vineyards, hikes, a get away, or a place that is pet friendly Fairview hits it out of the park in every way. I could not have been more pleased and can't recommend this enough for whatever reason you want to make the trip. Jennifer...

My husband and I spent the weekend in celebration of our anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better place. Jennifer, the owner of Fairview, was the perfect hostess. She made us feel welcome the moment we got out of the car. Interesting to talk to, always available, but never underfoot. The house was unbelievable. Striking in appearance inside and out....

I had the opportunity to spend a 3 day weekend at the Fariview Bed and Breakfast with 3 of my dear friends. When we arrived at the house I knew it was going to be a great time. The house sits off the road and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and green pastures. Jennifer, the lady who owns and runs...
