My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights with a our daughter, son in law and grand-kids. Had 2 rooms with double beds (connected) and that was perfect. Plentiful self-parking is free and metro is close - you really never have to drive once you are here. But they do have a shuttle as well. In Crystal City Close...

Staff is polite, helpful and friendly. The deluxe room was freshly painted, updated bedding, new curtains and comfortable beds. The other furniture was old but clean. Great value for the money. The bathroom is straight out of 1963. It was clean. Made me feel like I was visiting at my grandparent's house.

I was very pleased with the accommodations; I spent 2 nights. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the building and room were clean, the breakfast was good with adequate food choices and well maintained, the location was convenient, and the price was excellent.

Great location for seeing washington. Especially for this price. Staff could be friendlier. Breakfast is boring. Bagel, donut or Kellogg's that's it. Rooms are ok Very near to metro that will take you to the mall in 15 min.

We stayed three nights here as we were visiting DC to do the tourist thing. The location wasn't bad; very close to the Crystal City Metro which was very convenient to get around the city. We felt safe walking around, but it's just a rundown area and the hotel itself is very old and outdated. No water pressure AT ALL....

As others have stated, this hotel should not be judged by its looks. For about $100. per night less than any other option in the area I was willing to give it a try. The hotel is definitely circa 1950. The lobby and the bathrooms are still holding on to the 50s, too. Our bathroom had the pink and gray...

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I really think it is the best value for cost in the DC area. The staff are very helpful and courteous, and offer the service of the van to local areas, including the metro stop, restaurants, and so on. I have stayed at many other (much more costly) hotels in DC...

Don't judge the hotel by it's physical appearance. Yes, the hotel needs renovation. We thought we wouldn't enjoy our stay there but we were wrong. The people working in the hotel made our stay felt like we were in a 4 - star hotel. They were all very nice and very attentive to our needs, from the driver, receptionist down...

The hotel was built in the mid-20th century and is by no means an upscale hotel. However, the interior is very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the updated rooms and were very happy. The room was exceptionally clean (Thanks Joanne) and very comfortable. If you want good value for the money, this...

The place is not very appealing from the outside but inside it is very clean and comfortable. The people at the desk were all very nice and very helpful. The shuttle driver will take you to restaurants, the store, the metro, the airport, he was so nice. The rooms are old style but very clean and comfortable. We checked prices...
