The room was mediocre but clean. We paid for 3 nights during race weekend. Our plans changed and we had to return home. The manager would not refund our money, he wouldn't even meet us all way with one night refund and was very unpleasant and condescending. Never book this hotel again.

Visited during the Bristol Fall Night Race, August 2016. Great location, right next to the interstate and on the main street. The hotel has some nice views, you park your car right outside your room, the rooms are large. and that's it. I know this is a budget motel, you get what you paid for. But from the reviews this...

Found this motel by accident. We were hesitant to stay but were tired and the other hotels around were twice the cost. What a surprise. The rooms are huge, clean and the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The staff were so nice. We called and said we would be getting in late, 11 pm, they made sure the heat...

We stayed here while traveling through on 81. You can't beat the price and value of this place. It is family owned. Yes it is an older place, but it is clean and the rooms are large. AC and heat come through a wall unit. It is a budget place but it also has excellent views of the mountains.

The room was basic (two double beds, decent sized bathroom and plenty of counter space) but very clean. We were able to park right outside of our room which was very convenient. There was a beautiful view of the mountains right outside of our door.

If you are looking for a clean motel (not hotel) on a budget, this is the place for you. Just a clean bed and clean shower. That's about it. Easy access as it is just off Hwy 81. Close restaurants, gas stations and walmart.

Really liked my stay. The structure itself is very retro--1960's--may have been a chain motel, but nicely designed with nice grounds and well-kept. My room was a bit dated by very clean, with a renovated shower and vanity/sink area. Liked having the refrigerator and microwave. It was a little off-season, but I paid $49 + tax a night for a...

I paid $66 with tax for a double bed room. As others have said, it is an older motel right off the highway. From the outside, it appears fairly neat and clean. I did not have a "Mom and Pop" experience. Each time I entered the lobby, there was no one there. There is a bell on the outside door...

What a find! Old fashioned motel, huge room, comfortable beds, cool setting and a reasonable price. Definitely recommend. We went to abingdon for an overnight visit and, while we would have loved to stay at the Martha, it wasn't in our budget. This was just perfect for us.

After reading up on this motel I expected to find a retro-styled motel. From the outside that is what you see, inside it is just a low-end motel. Pros - the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The tv was large and new. There was a microwave which we didn't try and the mini fridge was usable but...
