This Inn has been completely redone in rustic farmhouse style and the quality of the finishes are apparent. Down to the last detail there is something to admire, from the lighting fixtures to the custom furniture. But that is just the tip of the iceberg! the beds are so comfy and it is a beautiful serene setting so you will...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review! It's great when guests notice the hard work that was done here. It's such a nice time to be here and I'm delighted that you had a good time. Thanks for the compliments and I agree that the heating/cooling units are tough to run sometimes. Next...

Beautifully renovated Inn on a gorgeous property less than 10 minutes from Manchester. We stayed in the main Farmhouse but there are also two other fully renovated buildings on site. All are exquisitely furnished but maintain that farmhouse feel. You can stroll along the Batten Kill River which runs through the property (I'm sure great for fly fishing in season),...

We enjoyed a long weekend at Hill Farm Inn. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the property and each time our high expectations are exceed and we enjoy new experiences. We hiked the trails on the property and climbed Mt Equinox which can be viewed from Hill Farm Inn (see photo). While the rooms and landscape are...

I find fussy inns with too much furniture and stuff everywhere to be really difficult. This wonderful inn is the antithesis. Beautifully modernized and sensitively expanded, the style is clean, classically modern, and tailored. The setting is superb: views from my room in the morning of the vast red barn and hills beyond were stunning. Mariah, the innkeeper, does a...

We went up with several families and had a wonderful time even though the weather was quite miserable. There is plenty to do in the winter even if the snow is not cooperating for skiing. Shopping, museums, spas, and indoor tennis for those who prefer to stay out of the elements and lots of hiking trails for hardier types. In...

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves even during one of our toughest winters here in Vermont, with very little snow! No matter the weather our fireplace is a great spot to gather, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again for your comments, looking forward to your next visit.

My wife and I recently escaped to the Hill Farm Inn and had a wonderful time. Check in was a breeze, and our room (Battenkill) was breathtakingly beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains (tons of windows) super comfy king size bed, high ceilings with wood beams, great bathroom, and a very effective gas fireplace/stove, which gave off a lot...

Ten stars from two stars, you are so sweet to both post your positive experiences at Hill Farm. It's delightful when guests truly "get" what we are doing here. We loved having you here and are glad you enjoyed Battenkill, it is a beauty! Hope the big guy was happy to see you on your return. Looking forward to having...

My husband and I had such a relaxing time at the inn. We stayed in the Battenkill room. The pictures don't do it justice. The room is spacious and the views are spectacular with windows on two of the walls. There is a stove/fireplace in the room which adds to the romantic ambience. The cathedral ceiling has a gorgeous glass...

I cannot say enough about Hill Farm Inn. It is simply amazing. Recent renovations have updated the comforts without losing the charm. We had the occasion to make our visit with friends and could not have felt more at home. Myself, my wife and my 2 sons spent NYE weekend at the Inn. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The Inn itself is absolutely beautiful and was recently fully renovated. However, you can easily see the amount of detail that went into keeping the charm of the original historic Inn. Our suite was so cozy and just...

We brought the whole family and meet up with friends and their families. Great time had by all. We would separate and do our individual thing and meet up in the mornings and evenings. Skiing, hiking, shopping and fabulous places to eat all so close to the inn a definite win.
