Alta has a very particular culture which it guards jealously- traditional, respecting history, values repeat visitors, etc. And the Alta Peruvian Lodge reflects this culture exactly. There are so many repeat visitors here it is amazing, and they see themselves as custodians of the traditions of the lodges traditions. And the funny thing is that they are so welcoming of...

This was the second time at the Peruvian for my son and I. It was difficult to leave and we look forward to returning soon. The lodge is great, accommodations just right, food is fantastic, other guests are friendly, and it snowed every day we were there.

This was my first trip to the snow and it was amazing. Everything you would want and expect from traditional ski lodge. Warm wood burning fires, lounge areas, rooms are small but truly all that you need. Food was excellent for an "all inclusive." Sitting the the outdoor hot tub as the snow falls around you is a once in...

On and off snow fun for all abilities! I've been to the Alta Peruvian Lodge as a guest before but returned as part of an event. Women from all over the USA, some who had never seen snow, throughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The fact that everything is on property, all inclusive, makes decision making easy - you...

This is a great place to go for some of the best skiing available. The people that stay at the Peruvian are often frequent quests which tells you how great the place is. The dinner atmosphere is very good and it is wonderful to meet so many interesting people.

Overall was a great experience, with a total "ski lodge" feel. No TVs in the rooms, only a few in the common areas. Bar closes at 10pm, and you cannot take your drinks out of the room. Affordable drink prices! Dinner reservations required, which can make dining in a large group difficult or impossible. Dinner took upwards of 2 hours...
