If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This was the absolute worst hotel experience of my life. I stayed here along w/ my sister for 3 nights and the accommodations were terrible. I am genuinely confused by all of the 5 star reviews! #LIES! First of all, the lodge is located way up high in mountains were...

Our customers are always right. It’s our mission to provide all of our guests with a great Alta Lodge experience, and we appreciate all of the rave reviews on TripAdvisor, reflecting that. Any time we hear that we have fallen short of a great experience for our guests, our commitment is to learn from what our guests have told us...

We spent a week here in January with our 4 kids,we had 2 rooms next to each other. really helpful team reception, we all enjoyed the lodge atmosphere and my wife and i managed to sneak off a couple of times for a drink in the bar upstairs. Bit of a step back in time, but great to be able...

I was at Alta this August for a family wedding. The deck/patio area at sunset, looking up the mountainside was an extraordinarily beautiful setting for a wedding. The service at Alta was great. The continental breakfast had many good choices. The lodge is somewhat rustic, not having any elevators. This isn't really a problem in the lodge, where the levels...

If you are coming to SLC in the summer you can stay in the valley or you can make the trek up here to this little throwback haven in the canyon. Staff is pleasant, rooms are clean, and breakfast is good (the most American "continental" I've had - includes hot food). The rooms transit sound and the halls creak so...

I have been visiting here for nearly 20 years. The rooms are quite comfortable and one can select a level of lodging to fit almost any budget. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is fabulous. The Sitzmark bar is an experience well worth enjoying. The staff are great and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Alta is...

There's almost no point in reviewing Alta Lodge. If it's your kind of place, you probably already know about it. This place is beyond special. It's unique. It's ski-in, ski-out, with gorgeous views of the mountain and down valley. Being from Colorado it pains me a bit to say, but Utah really does have the world's best snow. I was...

My stay at the Alta Lodge. The staff was very friendly, accomodating my very late check-in quite graciously. My room had a great view of the slopes and the surrounding woods, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant had the most delicious pecan salad I have ever tasted. The hot pool felt great after a day of hard skiing....

Have stayed at the Alta lodge just a few times, but can honestly say it is a wonderful ski lodge. The staff and food are first class all the time. Stayed in the original lodge room and although it is small I could not ask for a better experience. Will be trying my best to make this annual trip.

I only have positive things to say about this hotel - it is simply the perfect ski lodge for our family. It is a hotel that has figured out everything that someone may want while skiing and made an effort to provide this and more. The rooms are comfortable and warm, the food is excellent and plentiful, and the bar...
