We stayed over memorial day weekend 2015. We come to Austin a bit to visit friends and/or family and this is the first time we've stayed at this hotel. Normally I stay downtown, so this area was new to me. This hotel is right next to the Arboretum so lots of shops and restaurants. It is mostly chain stores and...

Stayed here for a week on a work conference. The rooms were really spacious and very clean. The lobby, bar, and especially the back patio are very nice and offer lots of places to just relax. The back patio has nice seating around a fire pit or overlooking the pool area. The hotel is located near some great restaurants like...

Very friendly front desk staff. Check in was easy and got upgrade because of affinity status without asking. The rooms are very modern and the hotel is an extremely convenient area for business visits in Austin. This is a very nice hotel and worth the rate.

My stay started with a snafu regarding my company required billing arrangements - which in fairness was eventually resolved & could have been at least partly the fault of my company travel agency. However .... The rudeness of the first person I worked with was inexcusable. I finally got someone to be reasonable & work with me - but it...

This is a great Marriott facility and only about 20 minutes and easy drive from the airport. However it is basically in the suburbs so without a car you are limited to where to go. Some things are walking distance across the parking lots but just a consideration if you want to take advantage of the best of Austin. The...

Stayed for a business meeting. Room was very comfortable, one of the best beds I have seen at a hotel. Bathroom was clean and functional but being on the top floor the water pressure was a bit low. Lounge access was great, and the staff very helpful. Wifi was fast. Only down side was a lot of ambient noise from...

Came here for a 1 day conference but stayed 2 nights. Did not do much research about the area so was pleasantly surprised when we got there. We got a king room with an arboretum view and it did not disappoint. Large room with 2 club chairs. View was overlooking not only the nice pool, the bi-level outdoor patio, and...

It was fine for a short stay (wedding event). Room and facilities are clean. Rate and food were a bit pricey. Fitness center and sauna are a plus. Several small restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel.

This might be the best location on the north side of Austin! Close to gourmet restaurants and all manner of shopping, it also has a great view of the hill country from the back patio. The staff are super friendly - especially the ones right out front who warmly greeted us every time we passed and offered to help us...

Stayed for University of Texas graduation weekend. This hotel was expensive for these dates, but so was every other hotel in Austin. We had no hot water for the shower on graduation morning. My wife took a cold shower, but I went to the pool/workout facility and was able to get a hot shower. Management responded promptly, and the hot...

Thank you for your review regarding your stay over UT commencement. I am delighted to discover that you enjoyed many of our amenities, but disappointed to read that you had to use our workout facility to take a hot shower. I have shared your review to further investigate this issue to ensure no other guest has the same experience. We...
