This hotel is located close to Austin's downtown activities. Restaurants, shops, bars, and the water front are all within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this Omni location. Very nice rooftop pool. The workout facility was wonderful with many different machines and weights.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was corteous and very helpful. We stayed on the 5th floor and it got noisy outside late at night. It occasionally woke me up but this did not make my stay any less enjoyable.

the omni is always a favorite--did not disappoint. the club room was so convenient with a 2yo....nice easy breakfast...never made it to the evening happy hour, but sure it was nice as well. bar menu for late night dinner when i arrived was great. the parkside restaurant-excellent on 6th--a block away....so easy! if the baby had gotten her milk and...

Thank you for the positive feedback from your recent stay. Please accept our sincere apologies for the lapse in delivery of your cookies & milk amenity. We appreciate you reporting the issue as it is not our customary level of service.

A bit pricy but staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. We did have to pay for WiFi which was a bit surprising. Our view on the 16th floor was good but it did overlook the homeless shelters. There was a problem on the street and we heard cars horns even on the 16th floor. That said it...

Other than location, not much to be impressed with. Rooms are just ok. Lobby is big and not welcoming. Service was fairly good, but for the price did not seem to be the best value. Not sure if I'd stay there again, other than for the location to the nightlife.

Had the unfortunate stay at Omni downtown Austin Texas when the smoke alarm went off in the middle the night an engineering was unable to take care of the problem. They finally took the alarm off with my suggestion we're going to replace it that day while I was away at a meeting with the president of APA. Upon returning...

Thank you for your comments. We do appreciate the feedback as it helps us to improve our service. I am sorry you had the issues with the detector. It does happen sometimes and it was replaced. Unfortunately the replacement also had issues.

We booked the wrong Omni location and when we arrived they took care of us. Cancelled the wrong booking and booked rooms for us in the downtown location. The service was amazing!!! Arriving to the downtown location, we couldn't have been more pleased. The staff, hotel, service and location were more than we had expected. We are now Omni customers...

Wonderful stay. No issues. Upgraded me because our room wasn't ready. Very friendly staff from the time we stepped out of the car to the time we left. If not for the emergency sirens on the street it would have been perfect.

I stayed at an Omni in Dallas once. It was a newer hotel and I actually enjoyed my stay from what I could recall. This, however, in Austin, was quite a surprise. First, the overall room decor and design is supremely dated compared to other Austin hotels (and I've stayed at quite a few). And most of the rooms, including...

Great facilities, however they will ot honor school Sales Tax exempt forms. They honored the Hotel/Motel Tax Exempt but I had to pay state sales tax on parking and Internet usage even though I had the proper forms
