If my schedule had allowed it, I would love to have stayed longer. It was hard to leave. What made Brava House so pleasant were the comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, welcoming hosts, a perfect front porch for reading or chatting, a discerning cat, and being within walking distance of the Capitol building, Bookpeople and lots of other good shops and...

The Brava House is an excellent location for anyone with even a mild curiosity about what makes Austin such an amazing city. You are beneath one of the famous Moonlight Towers in a great neighborhood. I walked everywhere...to the funky old time drugstore, the great coffee shop, excellent restaurants. If you want five star Ritz service, go somewhere else. If...

The room was very nice, as was the neighborhood. Off-season weekday breakfast was basic with good pancakes. Overall nice place to stay.

We arrived late at night but Robin had given us instructions on how to get into our room and how to find everything. It was easy as could be. Then we enter our room... more spacious than our NYC apartment. Beautiful space, clean and cozy. It felt like arriving in our home away from home. We slept soundly only to...

This review was written by an individual whose parents stayed here, the individual never visited the Brava House. The review was prompted because the guests inadvertently neglected to pay for their minibar charges, a follow-up email was sent to the individual as she had made the reservation. Her reply to the email was that she was very upset that we...

We were very pleased with our stay at the Brava House. The house itself was beautiful and we felt so at home. The room was spacious, yet had a cozy feel to it. The location in relation to getting out and about was amazing. We were able to have a night on the town, visit the capitol, enjoy an art...

On the spur of the moment we placed an online reservation and showed up 2 hrs later to a clean warm (fire in fireplace) cozy room, actually a suite which we didn't need but were delight to hve. The house is quiet, the neighborhood is too. If there were other guests, we didn't hear them. Mary was attentive, friendly and...

This was my second work trip to Austin. I love the city, and the Brava House exemplifies what I like about Austin: both are cool, fun, friendly, easygoing - the kind of place you don't really want to leave. The two-room Fitgerald Suite had a lot of space for a reasonable price. It was clean and quiet, with a very...

The Brava house was a really nice place to stay in a great location! It's just a couple of blocks from downtown, you can walk to several places, but in a very nice neighborhood with lots of trees and peace and quiet. Robin and Mary, the owners, were great and had lots of good suggestions of local places to go...
