The fairfield inn at the domain is always our first choice when staying in Austin. Prices are great, its next door to the Domain and Arbor Walk shopping areas, the Arboretum, and its a No Pets Allowed hotel. The breakfast is your typical free breakfast, the rooms are clean and wifi sems to work just fine. We have stayed here...

This place is pretty good as long as your not sleeping at the back of the hotel when it sounds like you're dreams are interrupted by an Apache helicopter attacking the place. Turns out it's just a freight train. I was able to get my room moved quickly. The breakfast is generally a disappointment, but I've come to find that...

We enjoyed the hotel. It is a nice area that is well maintained. The staff was wonderful, always friendly and helpful. The free hotel shuttle within 5 miles of the property was great. The train did not bother us, but could be mildly annoying if you are early to bed. (Went thru about 9:40 pm while we were there)

Great property, well-lit exterior and clean lobby. Friendly staff at the front desk and a simple check-in process. Room was very clean and everything was in working order. Comfortable bed and pillows. Unfortunately I had no idea that train tracks run right behind the hotel. My room faced the tracks so any peace & quiet was interrupted by loud freight...

I stayed this hotel with my daughter just before Christmas. The location is very easy access and convenient to go shopping at Domain! The room was clean. The front staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. However when I checked in, they were doing some renovation/remodeling in the next room. The noise was so loud and...

The room was comfortable/modern, wifi worked great, breakfast was satisfying, and there was ample parking; can't really ask for more. If I find myself in this area again, I'd definitely stay here again. The only tricky part was getting to the hotel; it's along a one-way road so if you miss it, you'll have to loop back.

My daughter and I went to Austin to look at homes - we were considering a move to Austin. The hotel was fine. The pool outside was small and oddly placed. Our room was unremarkable. The area is convenient to restaurants and shopping if your into typical mall shops. The location is a bit difficult to get to but once...

Good location with access to expressways for all areas of city. A lot of toll roads may cause confusion so be careful. 6th St the central downtown area is about a twenty minute drive from the property. Parking may be a problem. Lady Bird lake (Named after the wife of President Johnson) is within walking distance of the 6th St...

Place in nice; friendly staff; etc. However, I wanted to have a cheese omlet with a little more shredded cheese on top and saw that the shredded cheese had mold in it. Went to tell the person serving the breakfast, but she was in the kitchen and was busy using her phone.

The hotel was fine. Clean, comfortable and nice staff. Plus it's very close to great shopping and restaurants at The Domaine. The problem is that the front of the hotel faces a highway.
