Travaasa, Austin “Experiential” Resort provides the BEST parts of summer camp activities but kicks it up tenfold in every respect. Instead of dirty cabins and bug juice, you have luxurious rooms perched up high in the Austin Hill Country with unparalleled views, world class dining and a full service spa fit for royalty. There’s also a stunning infinity pool, hot...

My husband and I recently visited Travaasa Austin for my birthday. It was amazing! In addition to gorgeous "cabin-like" accommodations, a top rated spa, and amazing food at their onsite farm to table restaurant, my husband and I enjoyed the daily activities like hiking and archery classes that were included with our stay. We chose to do the "a la...

I went with a friend for 3 nights and 4 days and it was all amazing. It was a complete weekend of R&R. It is the right amount of luxury and comfort. I enjoyed that it was laid back and could go at your own leisure. All the food was amazing. The spa staff was great and we loved all...

Something for everyone--A great spa, outdoor adventures including ax throwing, zip wire, high ropes course. Great healthy food and a fabulous friendly staff. An upgrade program for the rooms (much needed) has begun. A word of warning though--the two year update is extensive. Surveyors' markers are everywhere for new buildings and facilities. The project is going to be huge. I...

I went with a friend for a girls weekend. The weather wasn't great (thus we couldn't enjoy the pool as we had hoped), but the activities give plenty to do even if the weather isn't great. The overall cost is a little pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant wasn't overly expensive (especially since it's the only place...

From the moment you check in you are able to check out. The resort is laid out in a natural and understated environment, yet it is up scale and comfortable in every way. There are a variety of adventure activities and fitness classes. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. The spa and other faculties are well appointed. It...

My wife picked this place, my son said he would "take one for the team," and we all had a great time. The activities were fun and educational and our room was clean and comfortable. And the food at the restaurant was great too. Definitely worth the price. Step outside your box and try as many different things as you...

Beautiful resort! This place is amazing. They have everything you could ask for and the staff is wonderful! Always willing to lend a hand and accommodate our needs. Only down side of this place is the lack of food options and no room service. Other than that it was worth every penny. Robin the night time bartender was our favorite...

Everything is excellent about this resort. The rooms are spacious with balconies. Even on the 2nd floor you get a good view of the hills. The spa was incredible, the activities are truly therapeutic, the food is fantastic and the staff is exceptional. I can't wait to visit again!

This was my Christmas present to my sweetie. A two-night romantic getaway. We live 25 minutes from here so it was easy to get to. Overall it was a very nice relaxing weekend and the weather was just gorgeous. I give 4 stars (instead of 5) primarily due to the rooms. Our first night we were in a walk-out basement...
