As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with the stench of mold and sewer. At check in, your credit card is charged $50 for damages. Seriously, damages? The experience only worsened when we walked in our room. AC would not cool, the room was filthy., carpet & couch were both stained with either wine or blood....

We booked via orbitz, so I had the rack room price plus a promo 15% off and used about $6 in orbucks earned from a previous hotel stay. We've booked with Casulo probably 5+ times over a 5-year period. The hote is a little swanky, offering baths and showers that are fully visible from the room in case you want...

Stayed here for a meeting in February and was immediately disappointed by both the service car and facilities. The rooms were not very nice at all. I expected more from this price point. By far the worst was that I got bitten up and down. Nasty bites. Maybe it was mosquitos but I think it was something else. Staff was...

Terrible trip. Got eaten alive by a bed bug infestation. Sent photos to them and they wouldn't return my call. Terrible. Im going to refrain from posting pics but I had over 30 bites in 2 night stay. Had to fumigate my luggage just in case.

The Casulo Hotel is a great place for anyone looking for a boutique stay in Austin. My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first trip to Austin and were very pleased. The hotel is zen inspired with a very friendly staff. The rooms were standard, however they did have nice oversized tubs. Complementary breakfast was served daily till 10am....

This hotel has been renovated and has wonderful features, soft comfie beds, new bath features. However, it's a bit "Home Depot" in places too - but the cost makes that very bearable. Breakfasts are more than continental and very decent. Watch for the strange rooms with a glass wall between the bath and bedroom. Or maybe you like that? It's...

Horrible! Room had a funky smell that clung to our clothes even after we had checked out. People yelling in the hallways after midnight. Front desk staff OK. Breakfast was OK at best. Will NEVER stay here again!

The décor is cute but a little odd given their location. The hotel had a lot of nice features, but it seemed like they were in a rush to finish building or renovating as the finishing touches weren't quite right. The price was fair given the popularity of Austin. The location isn't great as you are right off the highway...

Stayed during a rainy weekend and got a beautiful room on the 3rd floor there were Christmas lights on the balconies which I though was a nice touch. We left a few times to get food but mostly was a staycation. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. We watched TV and took advantage of the gorgeous unique shower and tub. I...

Room is freezing and doesn't warm up fast. Breakfast is mediocre, not worth the extra price. Like shower/tub combo. Shabby pool upkeep with torn up tent cabana. No boutique hotel for sure. Bed is good. Not staying here again.
