We visited Austin for our daughters graduation and really enjoyed our stay at the Adams House bed-and-breakfast. Ladon's excellent breakfast and welcoming and friendly manner were particularly appreciated. The location is excellent with a neighborhood grocery store, coffee shop, and other options within walking distance. The home is beautiful with very pleasant shared spaces in the dining room and attached...

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Adams House. The innkeeper is knowledgable, (especially about TB in addition to inn-keeping), and tenderly cares for this sweet space inside and out. No detail is missed.

Our room, Hyde Park, was O.K. It was small and a few items: the shower head did not work to create a spray...just a jet of water, the folding doors that separated the bedroom from the bathroom did not function properly, and the room just seemed in need of an upgrade. However these items have been pointed out to the...

First time Austin visitors and the Adams House was a great find. Conveniently located for us in a neighborhood that appears to be reviving itself. Within walking distance of food and treats with a grocery store, too. You'll want to plan to drive most places, though. We have stayed in several BnBs. This was the first continental style breakfast. Food...

A pretty house in a convenient, close-in location. Very clean and reasonably quiet. Mattress seemed a little worn and squishy. Breakfast was somewhat disorganized. Cook seemed to be having trouble getting everything together.

adams house hits all the things we look for (1) good location that is safe and accessible; (2) clean; (3) comfortable bed and (4) good shower. it is in a nice neighborhood where you can walk and their are a few restaurants, cafes right around the corner. we stayed in the Elizabeth Ney room and the bathroom is adjacent; but...

Business and vacationing brought us to Austin. We enjoyed our time at the Adams house as it provided us with a comfortable, clean and spacious suite to reside in for a few days. However, for us, the thing that makes a B&B special are the people that own and run the establishment. We were warmly greeted by the staff. They...

We stayed in the Sidney Suite and found it quite comfortable and enjoyable. The jacuzzi tub was a nice way to warm up after a cold day of zip lining. The bed was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfasts were really splendid. The website doesn't do it justice. They do more than just homemade granola and yogurt. They have a baked...

The Adams House is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood within walking distance to great food and drink and a local market. We stayed four nights, and loved the daily breakfast and amazing staff. The room we stayed in (Hyde Park) was tiny, but comfortable. The bathroom door is more of a louver closet door and doesn't close completely and...

For one of us it was a first trip to USA and what a delight. My partner and I felt as though we were staying with friends. Although the decor and furniture is elegant and kept beautifully clean by Rosa, the atmosphere is totally relaxed and welcoming. Liz or one of her team-mates Amy and Ledonne provided home cooked delicious...
