First off, this hotel is well managed, and has one of the most comfortable beds of any type hotels. It’s very clean with modern bathrooms. Nice parking option for a downtown hotel and decent amount of restaurants near the hotel.
Chose the Marriott because of location and was impressed by quality of room and location. I like staying at downtown locations because of restaurant and bar availability. The service and rooms were outstanding but was a little disappointed in the "dullness" of downtown Amarillo. Not...More
This location is downtown in an old building which was very pleasant. This location was in a quiet older part of downtown. Their were 2 restaurants / bars across the street. The room I was in was very large, clean, and spacious.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Great location. What more could you ask for? Stayed for two nights while visiting family. True gem of a hotel located close to everything. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!!!
Staff is excellent. Rooms are very clean and great service. Everyone from front desk, general manager, operations manager and staff at the bistro are warm, courteous and attentive to guests. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Acapulco's Mexican restaurant has a great bar area its styled as a classic Hispanic bar area. Crush Wine bar and right next door is Butler's Martini Bar, these are both more upscale. Out of the bars on this block the last few would be Wild Card and Bodega's, these are dance clubs only open on the weekends.
I hope this helps! Thank you for your interest.
