Good hotel accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and hotel supplied us with extra pillows on request. A bit noisy on car park side of hotel but this is to be expected and had quietened down by ten. Breakfast room was a bit small for the number of quests....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Alpine has several hotels, both chain and not, but this one was a great place to stay. Out on the east side of Sul Ross University (less than 1/2 mile), it is neat and clean. The pool was chilly but the hot tub was large and hot! We had a spacious room with 2 queen beds, AND there was enough...

The hotel looks good from the exterior, but the rooms are dated, particularly the bathrooms that needs some love. However, the rooms are large with comfortable beds. The breakfast is below average, to the point that on the second morning, we decided to go to a restaurant instead.

We stayed two nights in order to get a whole day in Big Bend National Park. The park centre is 100 miles from Alpine but its an easy drive. Our room was very clean and quiet (great insulation from road noise), and the staff were really helpful (eg when we wanted to get away to the park before official breakfast...

Recently stayed here for 4 nights over Spring Break. Staff were friendly, room was clean but in need of maintenance. The shower groaned, tile was cracked, and Sheetrock joints were fairly visible all over the ceiling. That said, the room was clean, the bed was in good shape, and breakfast was free (not the best quality). Would stay again if...

Very friendly staff and room was nice and had a wonderful view of the mountains. The only problem I had was the wifi was a little slow but other than that everything else was very nice. Parking was kinda an issue, but due to being a popular place.

This is really a 2.5 but since that isn't an option I gave them a 3 because of desolate location. Room was dark, old, and worn. Bedding and bathroom were as clean as they could be but the entire room needs a deep clean or update. Breakfast was as expected for a budget hotel, although this was one of the...

I do not understand all the negative reviews about this place. This place I did not have a single problem other than there key card machine was not working for about 10 minutes. The machine was fixed very quickly. Breakfast here is typical hotel breakfast buffet that is very filling for people headed to Big Bend.

I highly recommend this "choice" hotel. Beds and pillows comfy, large room with couch and desk, powerful hot shower, clean and quiet. Hot breakfast was a cut above most-- I enjoyed a nice biscuit with scrambled eggs. Yummy! Worth every penny.

As most tourists do, we spent a couple of nights in Alpine while visiting Big Bend National Park (still a long drive). The lobby has an interesting décor with western murals and paintings all around and there is a very nice pool area with lounge chairs. A very good standard hot breakfast is being served in a breakfast room that...
