Detailed Reviews
Stayed here last night. Choose this property because they were PET friendly and affordable. The property itself was nice. Upon arrival I saw a sign on the front door stating that FACE COVERINGS were required. Like that. The gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room itself was average at best. It was clean but very dated. The chair at the desk was pretty much worn out. There were some lighting issues in our bathroom as well. The carpet was stained in a few places too. The coffemaker in the bathroom had a broken lid and was pretty nasty to the point of us not using it. The rooms were fairly quiet which was a plus. The breakfast offered was minimal at best. We got coffee, a banana and some yogurt and called it done. While we were getting breakfast both the daytime desk attendant and a member of the cleaning staff were in the breakfast area having a conversation and neither of them were wearing masks at all... Not appreciated for sure. It was pretty clean, fairly reasonable and in a safe area so all in all we were okay with our visit. Would probably stay again in need be.

Hotel rooms, lobby and common areas were all pretty nice. Staff was AWESOME, friendly, funny, helpful and honestly some of the best interactions I’ve had with hotel staff and that’s saying a lot as we travel very often for baseball tournaments. Pool was a bit small warm and mirky but I’ve heard that it can be murky if too much chlorine was used. There also was not a net to get the bugs, leaves etc out of the pool. Other than than the pool i had no complaints.

We arrived and went to the front desk and inquired if they have a room available and if they take AARP discount. We were told yes they do to both. The girl at front desk was very friendly but did not know how to apply the AARP discount. After many attempts she took our AARP membership number and our name and stated her manager would be able to apply the discount for us. Upon check out the next day the bill under our door did not reflect any type of discount. When I inquired at the front desk the new attendant knew nothing about it nor could she find any notes about it. She acted like she really didn’t care but said she would have the manager call me. She took my information down and I have yet to hear from the manager Cindy regarding this discrepancy. Tried calling several times and the phone just rings with no answer. Very disappointed on the lack of response to this matter.

Reserved a room for an overnight business trip. The gentleman at check in was very helpful and courteous. Our first room had stains on the bedding and the sink was backed up with dirty water and wouldn't drain. The attendant apologized and put us in a different room. Unfortunately it was just as bad so we decided to go elsewhere. He submitted us for a refund but we were never refunded. Many calls later and we have yet to get a call back and we have still not received a refund. It's been almost 3 weeks.

This motel allows large dogs, and if you are next to a barking one, do not expect the motel to do anything. I could not even take a shower in the morning because the faucet was inoperable and only sprayed scalding hot water. Complained to the manager and was told the maximum refund was 25%. forget anything about a Choice Hotel guarantee. It is non-existent. I would not recommend this place to anyone. BE AWARE. The manager nor clerk wore masks. There is NO COVID SAFETY at all.

My stay at Sleep Inn has always been great. The staff at the front are friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are large enough to move a wheelchair around. The breakfast prepared by Sara Olvera was tops. She pointed out what was on the breakfast bar and offered to make anything that was not on the warmers. Breakfast was great. High five to Ms. Olvera, great job!

Manager will not return emails or calls. I tried contacting corporate office only to find out they have no jurisdiction over individual hotels. They expressed they were sorry I had a bad experience but nothing can be done for me to contact the hotel directly...which was impossible because again they won't respond.
Room was dirty, 3 towels were provided for 6 people, both tv's in the room did not work, phone in the room did not work, all 4 of our room keys would not work upon returning to our room, and sticky substance on comforter and of course the pool was "under construction". Do yourself a favor and stay at the residence inn next door. And did I mention I was charged $230 for this room.

Room was nice but beds were too soft. Bathroom door squeaky. Two lamps missing light bulbs. Breakfast was disappointing. No waffles, no syrup, very limited options. (Basically scrambled eggs and sausage) not even a microwave in breakfast area to heat up biscuits or honey buns or anything. Wish I'd stayed somewhere else.

We left an item behind and we contacted the hotel. I was told since it was an expensive item, it would be locked up. They have promised to look and call me back 5 different days. Never a response. Now they will not answer the phone when I call.
The manager and her friends took up the sofa and chairs, so to leave our breakfast table, no seats were available. So unprofessional!

Note: for chain hotels, I award a 4 rating if they live up to chain expectations.
This Sleep Inn is what Choice hotels wants it to be--clean, comfy, decent wi-fi, customary hot breakfast. Quite convenient to the highway and to what we wanted to do in Abilene. No issues.

I'm not sure. But there is a TV with typical stations on hotel TVs.
I'm not sure but if you call they will tell you right then.
