very friendly welcome, restored historic building, comfortable rooms with period decor, large garden, very good breakfasts, within walking distance of theaters and restaurants. Across the garden is the related Peerless restaurant, one of the better ones in town.

I cannot imagine a year without a pilgrimage to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which means staying at The Peerless. It's been 11 years and counting. I also love quiet time there during the winter if I can get away, which I've done and treasured.

We have been overnighting at the Peerless for twice a year when we go to OSF. Excellent accommodation plus a great breakfast (thanks Michael). Nice neighborhood to walk around. Recommend the Ashland Coop (a few blocks away) for a nice lunch you can bring back to the hotel. If the weather permits, you can eat outside in the patio area.

Michael at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on what to do,see and eat. We have been coming to the Peerless for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed. There is a great enclosed garden area that we used for our happy hour. It was a perfect stay.

Room 7 at The Peerless is our favorite place to stay when we go to Ashland, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (which is so much more than Shakespeare, but that's for another review). The Peerless is staffed by people who have been with the hotel since its inception, or so it seems. They are friendly, professional, and highly attentive....

Aptly listed in the book "1000 Places to See Before You Die", my goal is to try to stay in every room! Each room is quite differently, and sometimes whimsically, decorated. In two trips so far, we've tried rooms 1 & 2. And they have done a beautiful job of restoring the woodwork and flavor of times gone past. Our...

This is an elegant revival of a 1900 hotel into an upscale boutique with just 7 rooms. Each is unique layout with antique furnishings and custom wallpapers and hand painted decorations. Original woodwork and other trims add to period feel. Some rooms are a bit small but all baths are new and comfortable. Good beds. Staff is friendly and helpful....

This hotel is aptly named. It deserves all the accolades it receives and has received. The rooms are large, the furniture and beds are comfortable , the breakfasts were tasty and the customer service outstanding. We loved it and will definitely return.

Second time here...stayed 4 nights instead of 3 this time! What I love about it: amazing history and the meticulous renovation is well-documented and available for those who are interested -- it's on the historic register. Unique, comfy and peaceful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax alone or with a partner. Delicious breakfast included in price; we love to sit...

We love the Peerless Hotel! The hotel's customer service; it's unique interior design and it's location are tops. We park our car and walk everywhere. Located behind the hotel is a parking area for guests, so you don't have to park on the main street. On our first visit, several years ago, we enjoyed a stay in Room 2. We...
