We loved this place. Very clean and spacious. Very quiet relaxing. this place is at a state park do idk what the people complaining think. These are the cleanest cabins I have ever stayed at. We plan on bringing the whole family back next year and renting 5 cabins. We cant wait!

Have been here many, many times over the years. I have stayed in the lodge, but not in years. It is very run down but they are building a new one. Great RV camping. Stayed in a cabin this visit. We were in a one bedroom with a fireplace and full kitchen. Newly updated, however we were not told they...

We stayed 2 days and nights for our anniversary trip. The rooms were comfortable, though not fancy. The staff were excellent, meals were very good and prices were modest. We had a very relaxing time just sight seeing and resting. It was the perfect get-away.

The main lodge was built in the 1930/40's and you can tell, despite slow "upgrades" over the years. We've stayed for a retreat this year and last. The staff is friendly and helpful and by all appearances the resort is nice; however, the rooms are in need of help. They are small and outdated. There are two "big" rooms to...

Our family rented several cabins at Lake Murray for the week. A few couples stayed at The Lodge. Check in for the cabins was at 3:00. Some family members were not able to get into their cabins until nearly 5:00. The cabins were not clean and smelled terrible. The rooms in the lodge are dated and the tv in our...

AN EMAIL I SENT TO LMSP REP ON MONDAY JUNE 30, 2014: Dear Lake Murray State Park Representative, We camped at LMSP last weekend at Ski Jump campsite and I went into the lake on Saturday. Yesterday I noticed red pimples on my skin, on both areas that were covered and not covered when I was in the water. The...

My mother Honeymooned at Lake Murray Lodge 52 years ago and things haven't changed much since then. Talk about a blast from the past! Get to this lodge before it's demolished because Oklahoma is finally building a new Lake Murray Lodge!!! I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at Lake Murray Lodge, July 2013. Yes the...

I have utilized most of Lake Murray's overnight accommodations over the decades including sleeping on the ground in tents, summer camp church group settings, family cabins, and as of this year the lodge is where we decided to land for the holiday. Here is my assessment. As I walked in the door it was like a step back in time....

My husband, 5 month old, and I stayed in one of the refurbished cabins (don't know if they are all refurbished), and we loved it. I have stayed in the cabins prior to refurbished, and no, they were not luxury, but they were better than sleeping in a tent! Lake Murray is not a luxury resort, so if you are...

Felt like staying at a scary motel in the bad part of town. On the outside, cabins were cute. But inside, the carpet was gross, the bathrooms dirty, and the the kitchen was nothing to write home about. Thank goodness we brought our own linens!
