One of the highlights of my trip was staying at this small family hotel. Service is great and the good energy is everywhere. Thanks for an excellent stay, specially on those harsh times we spent together!! Hope to be back soon!!

i stayed last week in Ece Hotel with my cousin. i was very worried about the hotel after i had read previous reviews. Mr Yavuz Akin who is the business manager was so friendly , helpful, very nice. he took over the hotel just a year ago and worked very hard to fixed all bad views. i can say that hotel rooms needs to replace the airconditions and needs more lights. Swim pool was small but good for a family with kids. you will need to go to the sea side by hotel car. it took only 2 minutes by car but you can walk in 10 minutes. the Masal beach also very nice to spend your day by the beach. also you can take a minibus for go to Bodrum city centre in front of the hotel. i would like to say that thank you so much for everything during we stayed in. i will recommend you to all my friends.... :)

I can't believe the good comments. Rooms were dirty and has lots of missing things. Such as light bulb, refrigerator. The air condition didn't work correctly. Building was very old. We couldn't close the door. The tables were very small that we couldnt put something on it. And the prices were too much expensive. It's not a resort or butique hotel. It is just old and expensive.

No one's reviewed this hotel in a few years, which is not to say it no longer exists. (Though, I had my doubts as several emails and phone calls to the hotel before our arrival went unanswered!) While the very sweet Osi picked us up in Bodrum with a smile, willing to stop at the ATM for us, and even some sunscreen before the 20 minute drive to Turkbuku, he barely spoke a lick of English making communicating very difficult. Upon our arrival at the hotel, which is well-maintained and charming with beautiful bougainvillea trees and a clean pool, we were shocked to find that the place was empty. Not another guest. I don't think this had much to do with the hotel itself, but rather that we were there at the tail end of the season -- an unfortunate factor for us. Nevertheless, the rooms are dark and small and the beds a tad uncomfortable, so even if it were more bustling, I'm not sure we would've been happy with the choice. Plus, contrary to what the web site says, the hotel is not in Turkbuku, but in Golky, which is a 5 minute drive, but a long 20 minute walk. So if you're looking to explore the small beach town where there are other restaurants and boutiques (though, again, don't go in September -- it's a ghost town even though the weather is still delightful!) than this is not the place for you. Also, they don't have their own beach club, rather they use the docks of another hotel on the water in Golky, just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. All that said, Osi and his friends tried to do everything they could to make us feel welcome. When I forgot my book at the hotel, he went back and got it for me. He drove us to Turkbuku and arrived to pick us up with flowers. Most of this was "free of charge" and done with a smile. Service-wise, it was top-notch, if not a bit over-the-top at times! For the price, I suppose it's a good deal if all you're looking for is relaxing isolation, a basic room, a pool and a short walk to the beach. But be warned: Communicating will be hard. In fact, we spent a very funny hour talking to each other via Google Translator! All in all, it just wasn't what we expected.
