I cannot think of a hotel that I would recommend more highly than this small boutique establishment which is located in the Sultanhamet district of Istanbul. It is located within walking distance of the tourist highlights (Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Hagai Sopia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar). Dogan was the ultimate host - very friendly and helpful. During our travels around Turkey...

Some of my fondest memories of Turkey are of the Ada Hotel. Sure the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul id fantastic, and the Princess Islands are as beautiful as one can imagine, but the Ada is truly one of a kind. Small, quaint, and tucked away it is true paradise. Granted, if you are looking to drink and party on the...

We went to Ada Hotel 2 days ago just to have an insight view, and have a drink at the bar. Location: in the middle of nowhere, very far from the beach. Entrance: hidden. We passed by it twice before finding the door. Inside: a gloomy atmosphere. You have the impression of entering into a haunted house, confirmed by the...

I was delighted by the quiet, serene setting and the excellent service. My room was large, cool, and beautiful, almost a suite in that it had a separate area in the front of the room at a different level from the bedroom area. The gardens and grounds are lush and full of flowers and one beautiful and affectionate cat. The...

If you’re a fan of distressed pine and other whimsical designer nonsense, then you’ll enjoy this hotel. Apparently designed by a famous Turkish designer, the decoration struck me as fanciful, silly and clumsy – a frenzy of whimsical neo-rococo nonsense, dated, and incomplete, in that you sense that the money ran out when it came to the bathroom fittings. The...

This is a beautiful hotel- a refuge from the mayhem of Bodrum. THe staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful! It is a very peaceful environment. Food at restaurant was lovely as well. I will definitely return!

We went to Ada Hotel with our twins (< 2 years). We went during Ramadan, had the hotel almost to ourselves, and found the ottoman architecture and the multi-level gardens with olive trees and bougainvillea fascinating. We had a family suite - enormous, with an equally big private terrace looking on to the Aegean sea. Food was wonderful as well...

This was our first trip to Turkey having been many times to Greece. The hotel is built in authentic Turkish style with no expense spared and the rooms are fitted out in traditional style. If you are looking for marble and low voltage lights this hotel is not for you. The standard of accommodation was excellent, the pool is beautiful...

Let me state that when my wife and I stay at a hotel or resort in this price category, we expect something truly special. I can think of a half a dozen places that we have stayed around the world that qualify. Unfortunately Ada is not even close to being one of them. The place photographs like a jewel, the...

My wife and I stayed in the penthouse on our honeymoon - we were certainly happy with the room and the private pool. We had the "ADA Breakfast" nearly every day we were there - at first I was hesitant to order a $20+ breakfast but by the end I of my stay I was more than happy to do...
