I've been to Asmin Hotel in late August 2020. The location of the hotel is just perfec. It is close to all interesting points of the town. The staff is friendly and focused. For instance, I forgot my laptop at their reception after the checkout, the receptionist rushed and handed me the laptop. Asmin Hotel has a brilliant manager. She makes sure every detail of the hotel is at its top. The breakfast is delicious and full of choice. Also, their breakfast service is well-organised. The rooms are a bit smaller than I was expecting, but the hotel is silent although it is in sentrum. -Sercan

I had a really great time in Asmin Hotel. The place is located in a quiet street of the downtown area, close to the port, fish market and the bazaar. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms are bright, greatly equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was always delicious and extensive. If i return to Bodrum, i know on which door i will knock at. Thank you!

I wouldn't have even considered this hotel if it wasn't for the glowing reviews on TA.. Arrived at 4am .The location of the hotel is hidden down a narrow back street. The taxi driver struggled to find it and had to ask some locals. Upon arrival there was some communication issues as little English was spoken by some of the staff. I was given a basement room next to the noisy kitchen for one night which had no windows and was very small as the hotel was fully booked, despite my booking, I was promised a change of room the following day as it appears they didn't have my booking. Breakfast was basic Turkish, a few hot dishes, but nothing was labelled - not good for people with dietary restrictions.. Salads, meats, cheese, water melon, cereals , bread, juice, and lemon cake. Not the best quality but would set you up for the day. The dining area was small, and a couple of mornings I did not get a table due to being four seater tables, so had to eat outside on the sun lounger. Two seater tables would be much better for the use of space. There is also a really nice large roof terrace but this isn't utilised at all. Would be good to have tables , chairs and loungers to make use of the sun and views, the hotel is missing a trick here! The pool area was small and quiet - with limited sun.. The following day I was moved to a ground floor room, which was more spacious but a little tatty in parts, and had a stain on the bedding. The room was really dark so needed the lights on in the afternoon. The bathroom light didn't work, so I had to shower in complete darkness for three days, as there were no windows. I did flag the issue up with reception but it didn't get fixed. There was also an unpleasant sewage smell from the bathroom so I requested a room change, Moved again to a first floor room on day four. The room was smaller but light and bright and had a small balcony for one person. The bathroom was much smaller as well as the shower cubicle. The fridge did not work, so my food went off and had to be chucked out.. Again I informed reception and was promised that it would be replaced the following day but never did. The wi-fi was really poor, unable to stream content and it was so slow I gave up with it. Only one English speaking news TV channel available. The location of the hotel is probably the best feature, right in the centre of Bodrum and minutes from the harbour and bus station, but make a note of where it is as I couldn't find it and had to go to Tourist Information to get directions back again.. Once checked out if you have a late flight, the hotel offers shower facilities with toiletries. Unfortunately the shower did not work, so I had to lay on the floor to use the smaller tap near ground level - crazy! Again, this shows the total lack of any maintenance. especially as a lot of the staff were just standing around doing nothing most of the time, It' s a nice little hotel and staff are helpful and friendly but I think my experience would have been much better had I had a better room and there was more attention to detail for the hotels upkeep. The missing booking I had reserved through Love holidays which caused some confusion probably didn't help matters, The lack of maintenance and urgency wasn't a good customer experience for me. Maybe due to it being late in the season and they were winding down but no excuse to not replace, repair straight away. This could be a great hotel with some improvements. Due to my experience I wouldn't stay again.

I can honestly say what a lovely hotel this is from the moment that we arrived it was a busy hotel at a usually quiet time of the year that tells you alot about a hotel and they could not do enough the pool looks very nice set in the middle and as i was hot from a long drive and the time was getting on i did go for a swim and they sorted us out with a nice Proper Turkish coffee and put the pool lights on for me. The room was clean. The breckfast next morning was plentiful and a nice varied choice, as were the drinks. The manager and his collegue were more than helpful in helping me to confirm flights .The lovely Manager also helped us to sort out our car which was parked in a chained car park overnight we needed letting out early for the airport so he spoke to the owner for us ,also he arranged for us to have some sandwiches made to take to the Airport when we asked as we were going to miss breckfast Thank you..and also it was nice to have an early wake up call and be able to get a coffee before we left .I only wish that we could have stayed longer it was a real Gem of a hotel after having a not so good Hotel last year in Bodrum. This one is by far worth looking up for a stay as we will be back Thank you all.
