Stayed at the Monec for one night and enjoyed the big room with a nice view to the city, and the great breakfast. The room was heated well (it was snowing outside). Bathroom with jacuzzi (did not work..). The only thing that bothered me is the cigarette smell in the room. I am not sure if they have a non-... More

Although the hotel's facilities look and sound good the service is quite lacking. We were 2 families paying for 3 rooms but they tried to charge us for kids' beds who were all under 6 years of age. During our stay, while we were out all day, housekeeping didn't clean our room and no card was available to put on... More

I was attending an agribusiness value chain workshop organized by ICCIA and was stationed at Hotel Monecin Ankara. The hotel was a decent stay in Ankara, the location was little off from the city center and somehow in an isolated area. There was a shopping mall at a walking distance. The rooms, bed, restaurant were little above average. Restaurant had... More

Great hotel, very near to where we wanted to be. Second visit to this hotel in the last year. Great breakfasts. Very friendly courteous staff. Outside of city centre but suited us. About 45 minutes from airport.

This hotel is a little way out of the city centre so if you are after the full-on experience of a step out of the door into the nightlife hotel, this is probably not for you. However, if you want a peaceful, comfortable night in spacious accommodation, friendly staff and good views - this is for you. The room was... More

We stayed here just for one night, the city view is excellent, the room is spacious with a nice balcony and the decor is beautiful. The restaurant is average, so if you want something better you can walk easily to the mall nearby. The only thing was the internet connection that day was impossible, at the end we could not... This hotel has everything. It is spotless and the rooms are rather large. Looks great on the outside and inside. The rates are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. I had a minor issue with my room and it was repaired within hours. This hotel is next to a nice small mall. Plenty of food to chose from. Food... More

If you have to go to Ankara for business, then this is as good an option as any, particularly if you're dealing with foreign embassies of which there are plenty nearby. It's a stock-standard 4* business hotel, well appointed, clean, comfortable and affordable. The downside is that it's on the southern outskirts of town and around 50kms from the airport.... More
