The service is the best part of this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. We stayed in 2 different rooms, an executive and a deluxe, each with it's own style and advantages. Close to many restaurants, attractions, and a short ride to the US Embassy or St Lukes Medical Center. The breakfast menu at Cafe Arquiza gives you...

Stayed here our last night in Manila, in one of the Executive Suites (mit Jacuzzi). Very good value for money: room was huge and v comfy, hotel staff are nice, and it's quite nice staying somewhere that doesn't feel as anodyne and Globocorp-ed as Makati.

First, the good: front desk staff was quite friendly and pleasant, rooms were fairy roomy and breakfast was pretty typical. The bad: terrible area to walk around at night with homeless/panhandlers, prostitutes and hawkers seemingly everywhere between the property and the mall or other food/bar options in the area. Incredibly noisy road in front with the jeepneys and motorcycles and...

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western, location is quite strategic. Not far from robinson mall. Room is pretty good for the price. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, caters to more western tongue. Generally fine, could have a little more variety. We were just a little disappointed that we couldn't have an early check in. Probably because...

Arriving early will cost you 6 dollars an hour to enter the hotel room early up until 3 p.m. After a 30 plus hour flight and waiting time for the plane, I arrived early and asked to get into the room, which they had available. But they insisted I had to pay 6 dollars, 300 pesos, an hour. I refused...

For the price, this hotel is fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. As far as things the staff could control, it was a good experience. The neighborhood however is a bit sketchy. It's a bit of a red light district and there are seedy elements lurking about. Also, I highly...

I chose the Best Western La Corona for my first night in the Philippines due to its close proximity to the Sikat bus/ferry service. The departure point is right around the corner from the hotel. Sikat's service is the simplest and most cost-effective way to travel to Puerto Galera. After flying over 18 hours from the US I arrived at...
