A boutique type hotel which is very classical. I am so much pleased with the staffs here. Specially with the place. Very spanish era type. Would recommend this place for those who are looking for a place to stay for a day or two. Budget friendly place. Must visit!

Ideally situated inside the walls of Intramuros, this hotel served as my base during the recent trip to Manila. The walls are only a short distance away. Rizal Park is at most a ten-minute taxi ride. There's plenty to see in Intramuros and this is best done on foot. The splendid church across the street is well worth the visit....

I have been in the hotel industry for almost 30 years, and have traveled and stayed at some fine hotels. Frankly....they bore me. I have told many that I would rather camp at a great site than stay at a hotel. I call many of them......"prisons with panache". Of course they have the restaurants, gregarious lobbies, spas, and blah blah....but...

The hotel is centrally located in Intramuros heritage district in Manila, very close to all the heritage sites in the area. The hotel is hosted at Plasa San Luis complex just across San Agustin Church, both shared interesting architectural design. Room is standard and plenty of food options for dining.

My boyfriend & I booked (through Agoda) & stayed in this hotel after frolicking at Manila Ocean Park on June 30, 2014. The cab driver we hired didn't know where or how exactly the hotel looks like but is knowledgeable of its location. As we got there, we had to squeeze ourselves through an "eskinita"-like path just to reach the...

We checked the daybed by removing the fabric upholstery of the foam. We didn't find any bed bugs nor any insects on the fabric nor the foam. Sometimes the cosmetics or soap we use for sometime can irritate the skin causing allergies.

This is not the Manila Hotel or Sofitel but it's not meant to be. It is for those folks on a budget who don't need the amenities but want to be near the historical sites in Intramuros. The rooms are basic but clean. The restaruant has decent food (and great pina coladas). The staff is effiicient and friendly. Best of...

We can walk around Intramuros Old town. It's just located opposite St Augustine Church. The best about this hotel is location. The room is simple, clean, and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful.
