This is the perfect hotel for a stay in KL, The downtown area on Main Street is a best-kept secret and the Impiana KLCC offers everything you needed . Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check-in to the cleaning staff especially Ridzuam at concierge , were delightful and eager to help. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.

Love the location of the hotel. There's an air con link bridge that connects from hotel to KLCC and Bukit Bintang Pavilion. We never even take any public transport during our stay there.
The hotel housekeeping staff is superb and attentive, he noticed that I have 4 person staying in a room and he provides extra mineral water without our request.
The front desk manager, Karen was also very helpful, she upgraded our room when we arrived as the room we booked originally was not available until 6pm. When we reached our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to see the view of the Petronas Twin Tower from our window.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly at the hotel especially the housekeeping staff who took off their slippers after cleaning the room. There is a wide variety of items for breakfast and lunch but you may want to check to make sure if they are expecting a big group or not. They will still try to accommodate you if they can. The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance from the Suria Shopping mall where there’s a lot of buzz and activity in the many levels of this really big mall.

The property has an exceptional location, complemented by a breakfast service that excels in both variety and quality. The rooms, while adequately sized and generally satisfactory, exhibit a somewhat dated design aesthetic.
Regrettably, the cleanliness of the rooms falls below expectations but our main disappointment and concern is the attention received at the front desk. Despite providing evidence of our residency in Malaysia with valid working permits, as verified in our passports, we were inexplicably charged a tourist tax, our attempt to address this discrepancy with the receptionist proved useless, as the communication resembled a monologue with an unresponsive entity. This experience left us with a notable sense of dissatisfaction.

I stayed at the Impiana and have a very mixed review to share. I was recommended to visit by one of my close friends.
Front of house were truely excellent. Karen and the concierge team went out of their way to assist. Guest services on the phone were also very competent and efficient. They need to be commended as they hold the place together with their professionalism.
That’s where the good times take a turn south with the Club Lounge staff and the Cedars Restaurant.
The chef as an exception was always kind and friendly. However I must make particular note of one regular Club front-of-house who could never lift his face to say hello. A little example is when I walked in for afternoon tea I wasn’t acknowledged at all, no hello. Through my travels I’ve been in many club lounges and there has always been an affable warmth with a ‘good to see you’ conversation, offering any advice and service without intrusion. Not here. It felt almost rude as I felt invisible and ignored.
I’m also certainly not used to seeing staff (by the looks of it the very senior staff) take their own meals from the breakfast buffet for themselves while they were on the floor (I saw this in clear sight twice). Yuk.
Cedars is the hotel restaurant has a very limited and overpriced grill menu, yet here they still had items missing. Once served the mains, staff disappeared and only came to clean up the used plates at our request, some time after we were finished and waiting. For that price we would have expected more attention to detail. It felt like a waste of money in the end.
The hotel is a little tired but holds up well enough. A few quibbles but it’s solid. However, without a full team of professionals , there are plenty other smart, motivated hotel teams that could easily compete here to the take their share of business. I won’t be back.

A hotel is a temporary home to provide comfortable accommodation for guests who are away from home. This comfortable accommodation has been mentioned in the hotel website. However, I had a bad experience in my last trip because I could not get into sleep till 3am. This was because the hotel was having a party at Level 15 with disco music. The disco music was extremely loud with heavy bass, which I could hear from my room. How to get into sleep? The management did not consider their guests who had a hectic day and need to have a good rest. Not a comfortable stay at all. In my experience, all hotels will stop the music / party by midnight. I could not understand why the management allowed till 2+am?? Secondly, I faced the same problems on the water pressure and temperature which were mentioned by other guests in the review here months ago. Immediately after the review, Management has replied that they will look into the problem. I assumed the problem has been resolved after one month, but the same problem happened to my room. Thirdly, the hotel room fittings are very run down and tired. In order to maintain the international standard, major renovations are needed. Lastly, the coffee house used to serve fresh brewed coffee in the morning buffet breakfast but now guest has to pay for it. Most of the hotels in KLCC area provide free brewed coffee in the breakfast. Please re consider.

We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you better in the future. Kind regards. The Management

Stayed for 3 nights and hands down was one of the worst experiences I’ve had for a long long while. For a 4-star hotel, everything about this hotel is worthy of 1/5 stars. Room: old and poorly maintained. First room provided reeked of cigarette smoke. Second room provided was dusty and musty. My sinuses were clogged just after 2 hours of being in the room.
Housekeeping: the housekeeping button wasn’t working and so room wasn’t cleaned on the first day. ( which was fine since I was staying alone and didn’t need much tidying up ). Second day however they came and cleaned the room and took the card that was in the keycard holder. First time I’ve experienced this. Never have I ever had a time where housekeeping actually took the keycard. In any case, the room was tidied up but the bottled water wasn’t replaced.
Food: breakfast was pathetic. Variety was mediocre and quality and taste of the food was worse than some 2 star hotels. Even something as simple as fried ikan bilis can be chewy, hard and stale.
Parking: For a hotel catering to more than 400 guests, they only had 100+ car parks available. Unless asked, you would have to figure out the parking yourself once their hotel parking is full. And even after asking, the directions given to park near the Mandarin Oriental hotel were extremely vague ( since there were 2 outdoor parking lots ) and you had to park your car far away and walk all the way back to the hotel. The least they could have offered was a valet service but instead, they just left the guests to fend for themselves.
Their only saving grace is their location but even then there are many other better hotels with similar prices around the area.

4 day trip with our adult son to celebrate a birthday. We arrived early morning and knew our room may not be ready with check in at 3pm. in all hotels we've stayed in when booking the club room option, we've been directed to the club rooms to enjoy breakfast and considered a guest as we'd checked in but awaiting the room. Not so at the Impiana we were told to wait in the lobby and the receptionist offered little information regarding our stay, were facilities were etc. We left our bags and went off looking for breakfast - one of the great things about the hotel is the location, within walking distance of the towers, Pavilion and Suria. Our rooms (king deluxe) were very spacious and clean with a great shower. The club room itself is one of the nicest and most comfortable we've experienced. The food in the club room was good with evening canapes, and afternoon tea. Breakfast was the same items every day without any variation, although there was an egg station for freshly made eggs of your choosing. We've stayed in a number of club rooms which offer a selection of wines - at least 2 white and 2 red plus 2 different beers. During our stay however, only one beer option, one white, one red wine with only one bottle of each available to the guests. On one evening when my husband asked for a red wine he was told that they didn't have a corkscrew to open it and this wasn't offered at all that evening. There were a selection of spirits if you drink those (which we didn't). On the second day, they appeared to run out of orange juice which was not replenished for the remainder of the stay. At most other club rooms, you can access the room at any time e.g. for coffee and soft drinks, unfortunately, we weren't able to access late in the evening. The reviews don't allow for half star rating, and on this occasion I will give the Impiana a 3.5 rating, location and rooms were great and definitely a place to consider.

AC was not working the whole stay. We gave it the benefit of the doubt for a few hours. Then we informed them and they came to repair but no changes. During the first day, didn’t get face towels, iron, also fridge and one of the plugs near the bed were not working. We basically didn’t get half of the amenities we paid for. When asked about the iron, they told us to check the wardrobe? Oh silly us, we didn’t think of it before troubling ourselves to contact them.
When we provided this feedback during checkout and expressed that the most pressing issue was the AC, they said that if they were told earlier they would’ve given us late check out. I was fuming but let it go. Please tell me you want us to stay longer and suffer the heat? Even the hallway, the lobby and the walk bridge were colder than our “sauna” room. The lack of awareness was appalling. I will be reporting this to the Tourism Board. Thanks for all that you were lacking and for no rectification on your end.
In terms of food, mediocre at best. Soggy hash browns, hard undercooked fried rice, only one type of cheese, to top it off, they only provide butter out of a big jar. When asked, they said it’s because many people took their mini butter with them before. Same when asked about the face towels. They only provide upon request as many face towels went missing before. Why do paying customers have to bear the brunt? Such CHEAP mentality coming from a 4 star hotel.
Took forever to top up items that ran out. One time, one of us asked about the milk next to the cereals, they told her to go get the hot milk at the coffee area for her cereal. The audacity! This person shouldn’t be working in hospitality. You have to pay extra to get coffee from the coffee machine, only terrible watery coffee available with the buffet.
BEWARE. Stay here if you like to be sweaty all the time. Is it a hotel room or a sauna?
