Hotel's Favourite
As soon as we walked into our room we knew it was going to be great. The room was well equipped with a study nook and bench seat in the main sleeping area. Great use of space with the fridge, tea/coffee facilities and safe hidden away. We had a walk In robe adjacent to the ensuite. I was very pleased with the eco friendly use of filtered water and not bottled water.
The buffet breakfast is second to none, catering to all tastes and well stocked with fresh food.
The concierge staff were helpful explaining the way around KL and how we could access tours. Certainly a great hotel.

Firstly, I enjoyed the staycation with my family and appreciate the decoration arranged to celebrate my parent's anniversary. Thank you!
I understand the hotel has gone through a major renovation and rebrand itself. However, fail to notice the little things that your guest will need. First, the lighting in the Thyme is a bit dull and as elderly, they hardly can see what they are eating due to poor lighting. Second, the water pressure is not so good and no payer direction in the room (as most hotels will have one). Please put a note near the water dispenser as I had to call if a water bottle was given. I would suggest educating your waiters on the etiquette of picking up dirty plates. As the waiter literally stood behind us waiting for us to finish our last food on the plate and took our plate before we could even finish it where this has happened more than twice. Apart from that, I would suggest putting in 2 more hooks in the toilet seeing as this room could accommodate a maximum of 4 adults. Other than that, you might want to check your parking space and height as we almost hit the pipping attached to the ceiling. When you refurbished, you want it to be better. Therefore, all these little things count to make your hotel to be even better than before, not just changing furniture or redecorating your room to a modern style which was a nice touch.

I had a 6D5N stay with the hotel and absolutely loved it. It was a 5 star hotel with a 6 star service.
The airport transfer booked was extremely professional and comfortable. Didn’t had any issues upon arrival at KLIA2 since the driver was already there to welcome me.
All the hotel staffs were extremely friendly, went above and beyond for each and every of my request, esp when I needed help to heat food up 1am at night, they did it promptly. The hotel and facilities are all new so it’s very refreshing when I first stepped in. The room is sparkly clean and had ample space within. I enjoyed the bed the most (where it’s not too soft and sinks your entire body in) and the rain showers with strong water pressure and water which can go really hot if you need it to. Also spent lots of time at the sofa area and lobby for work and it’s really comfortable.
The bar is extremely beautiful and had very comfortable luxe seats around, mocktails were good. Their all day dining restaurant - Thyme - is very well furnished and doesn’t look like your conventional hotel restaurant. Major love! Tried their Indian, western & local dish, favourite dish was the laksa. Not forgetting the good buffet breakfast spread (teh Tarik is super good!!)
Their gym and wellness room are very well equipped with quality equipments and they’re all new as well. Swim at the pool was refreshing and absolutely beautiful at night! Given the nature of the country, there were mosquitoes, so the staff was so nice to offer mosquito repellent!
Lastly, the hotel’s location is really the best, centrally located beside the main Bukit Bintang shopping area, we covered the entire area from shopping, food and massages. This stay have had me truly enjoying my experience in KL.
Will definitely recommend this hotel and be back with my kids to try out the themed suites rooms!

Checked into Parkroyal Collection on the first day of their reopening and I would say the whole check in process was satisfactory considering the occasion. We were greeted upon arrival by CJ, the lovely director of sales and marketing who showed us around the hotel and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay.
Mr Bala, Gary and Tony from Thyme (the main restaurant) were busy engaging with customers, actively helping the junior staffs who were a tad nervous (which is again understandable) while delivering good service.
The rooms have been renovated with a tropical feel and it does feel really comfortable. The in-room water filter is another good touch; always nicer to drink out of a glass than a plastic bottle.
Overall a good experience and will be back again when the club lounge opens.

Been to All the Parkroyal in SG and pan pacific SG but this stay at Parkroyal collection KL is far from the standard in Singapore.
Pros:
1) Mattress and bed is super comfy.
2) Love the idea of filtered water to cut down plastic use and to save the environment.
3) Breakfast spread and taste of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) at Thyme is good.
4) Check in was smooth and fast (around 7pm on a weekday). Perhaps it was food timing?
Cons:
1) Room is dusty and dirty, Hair can be found on the floor and sofa. Daily housekeeping did not do a proper cleaning. No changing of sheets daily even tho sheets were stained. Stayed a total of 5 nights and they only changed sheets upon request.
2) Service staff are lazy and only do the bare minimum when asked. So sorry I’ve to say this. But service is clearly lacking for a 5* hotel. Ordered in room dining on multiple occasions and only once the food came warm and edible. Had to resort to going down to Thyme to dine in-room dining menu items instead. Not that the chefs did not cook well but the staff did not bring the food up to the room in an appropriate time.
3) it is a pity that the service staff at Thyme are very non-approachable and have conversations among themselves in Malay rather than to do their job. Queue was very horribly bad, lack of baby chairs and we had to ask for child friendly cutlery.. I’ve never had this issue even dining out at restaurants in Malaysia.. baby chair and baby cutlery were automatically given when they see my toddler, however none of these provided in a 5* hotel restaurant. A huge pity give that the food variety and quality at Thyme is so good.
4) Club lounge is speechless. The service staff do not go the extra mile. Just there to do their job really. Definitely not 5* standard…
Overall, not a child friendly hotel at all. No kids pool. Insufficient baby chairs, staff unfriendly when child make a mess. Either lazy to clean up or ??
Families with kids, pls try Shangrila KL instead. Top notch, not that much difference in prices also compared with Parkroyal Collection KL.

I was wary of booking a Collection Club room after reading the comments that the lounge is not ready but went ahead to book the opening offer which includes a free mocktail. Luckily few days before my stay, the hotel informed that the collection club lounge is in operation effective 1 July.
Was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and invited to check in at the Collection Club lounge at level 6. Check in was handled by Zalilah and throughout my stay she was excellent at ensuring everything is good with my stay. And when I had an issue with the room and informed her during breakfast, she immediately offered a service recovery which I appreciated.
About the room, I have no issue with Airplay/screen mirroring on the smart TV unlike previous reviews written here. The pillows were a bit hard for me though, wish there are a selection of softer/feather pillows. On the hotel website, it was mentioned work desk with stationery set, I was expecting a full stationery set with paper,envelope,postcards but only found a notepad and pen. As a hotel amenity collector, I am a little disappointed in this area. Another area which could add value is turndown service, hopefully this can be considered as I believe the sister hotels Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay in Singapore have this.
On to the collection club lounge, operation hours from 6.30 am to 10pm as it is also serving breakfast. Evening cocktail/mocktail is from 5-7pm with a selection of hot dishes and desserts, beers were offered but not wine or liquor (I believe this is due to the licensing issue which hopefully the hotel could address soon). Collection Club lounge is indeed a quiet place to grab a cup of tea/coffee outside breakfast/evening cocktail hours
Breakfast at Thyme was good with many selections including local favourites like nasi lemak, cold cuts such as smoked salmon and a roti canai/thosai station.
Lastly, a word of appreciation to the staff who is upholding the tagline Pan Pacific Hotels Group of Sincerely Yours. Even the housekeeping department staff who knocked on the wrong door, also asked how was the room and is everything good.

I booked the hotel for a short 2 night stay with my wife and 2 children since it was our 10th anniversary.
Requested a room deco for the occasion but was never provided. All other hotel that i stayed previously provided extra services and above expectation when room deco requested. Especially in Langkawi.
I could understand if it is a cheap hotel but from a big name like this, it was really a big letdown. The room itself is not even cheap and too minimalist to my liking.
Just an example, for our last anniversary, we stayed in a hotel in langkawi, i requested a deco for anniversary and what i get was beyond my expectation. They provided a bottle of fruit juice, a fruit basket and a small cake on our arrival on top of a simple swan towel deco and roses on the beds. And the best is we paid much lesser than the room here. I didn't even specify anything specific, just "a simple room deco for anniversary". That shows how they valued their customer.
It may not be fair but all i can see are wrongs from the moment i opened the room door. Paid parking, bathroom doors not working well, slow lift and the list can goes on.
The only 2 good things i can think of is the Location and fairly okay food for breakfast. Otherwise I'll just leave 1 star review.
It would have been a better stay and review if a simple request was fulfilled. 🙄

I'd booked a club room, but was sad to learn a few days before that the club lounge wouldn't be open nor would the spa, I considered changing hotels, but I'm so glad I didn't!!
Check-in was smooth and fast with no issues, I was even able to get into the room prior to check-in time which was great.
The room was lovely, it was clean and updated. The bed, pillows, duvet and towels were some of the best I've experienced in a hotel, so luxurious and fluffy.
The bathroom was clean and had a bath and separate shower, the only slight issue was I couldn't get enough hot water through the bath to fill it, didn't have any issue with the shower though. The water filter tap was a great addition and saved buying water each day.
The pool area was great, it was usually quiet while I was up there and got good sun in the afternoons, the staff always made sure I had everything I needed. The gym had a lot of equipment (I didn't use it but it looked great).
Breakfast was a buffet and had a vast range of options to suit everyone! I loved the variety on offer.
Canapes were served at the Botanist Lounge, also a lovely selection of things each evening and a lovely quiet atmosphere.
All the food I ate at this hotel was absolutely delicious.
The location is great, right next to Lot 10 and an easy walk to the monorail station and a number of other shopping malls.
The best thing about this hotel. The Staff! I stayed here for 6 nights and honesty was made to feel like I was the only guest in the hotel! All staff members were so warm and welcoming and I truly felt like they were treating me like family. I can't wait to come back when the club lounge is open as well as the Spa.

Staying here for 3 nights for meeting. The design of the hotel is nice. I like the ambience in overall. But the room is a bit small, and there's limited hanging hook/ cabinet (or table surface) in the room to put toiletries bag, personal things like ipad, glasses, watches etc. It would be nicer if adding more hooks in the bathroom, and have the sliding door to separate the shower and toilet, so that water wont splash out during shower.
Sound proof in the room is not good too (understand this is an old building)
oh ya... I realised my pillow is smelly, not the pillowcase, it's the pillow. But I was too busy and tired to call for a change.
My colleague commented bad service from the Thyme restaurant staff. When he asked for replenish on sashimi, the staff told him "I serve what, you eat what" which is very unpleasant to hear this in a 5 stars well known hotel.
Overall the service we experienced in the hotel is slow, especially during our Gala dinner at Garden Ballroom. The serving of food and beverages refill is very slow until we need to request and wait for it.
Breakfast and lunch selection is quite limited. Some of the food are quite nice, like the curry and nyonya laksa.
Wish you all will have improvement on these. Thanks.

My stay at the PARKROYAL Collection KL has been a 10/10 experience for me. The staff was so accommodating, hospitable, friendly, attentive, caring and the service was impeccable. My room was always up to scratch, the food for breakfast was so delicious and the massage services they offer is out of this world. The bed in my hotel room was so comfortable and clean. When you are out the whole day and come back to your hotel room, you feel so relaxed and at ease. They also have the best quality laundry services as well, you will receive your clothings pressed ironed and hanged for you in plastic wrap to protect your clothes from creasing or getting dirty. The staff pay attention to every detail and they will make sure you leave the hotel with a big smile on your face. In this case I was very sad to leave because I didn’t want to go. I enjoyed every night I stayed and I cannot wait to come back and meet the friendly staff again. I recommend everyone to visit whenever they get the chance. I miss it already! In the club lounge there is a cooler with beers, wine & soft drinks.
I’m sure one of the staff would fetch you a cocktail from the outside bar if you requested.
Vegan options varies depending on what is served at Thyme restaurant or club lounge. On certain days, we would notice that there would be vegan-friendly food available although not much (not sure of their names because they're mainly Indian delicacies without meat), however you may always approach the staff at the restaurant for vegan options if you'd like.
It'd be advisable to contact them and let them be aware of your arrival time. I'm sure they'll accommodate once the team is aware of it
