This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it did not disappoint.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom executive apartment, it is well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The room had a balcony however the door was locked, maybe due to it being a non smoking room. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils, cutlery etc and is very clean and maintained.
There are 2 bathrooms and both were large, one had a bath (fantastic when travelling with kids). Lovely toiletries provided - including a lip balm!
The best part of the room is the bed, it is a beautiful pillow top mattress. It is so comfortable to sleep on. We had very good sleep during our stay.
The pool and gym are located on the 22nd floor and it is a very beautiful space. There is a booking system due to covid restrictions, however, there were plenty of time slots available and very few bookings. The pool is cleaned a number of times a day, which provides peace of mind during the pandemic.
The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of KLCC, many restaurants and bars are close by. There is a convenience store located on the ground floor as well as a Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby.
All in all, this hotel is the perfect home away from home in the centre of KL. We can't wait to return!

We booked 3 bedroom apartment. The place is very cosy, clean and spacious for all of us. We had a great stay. The kids can run around safely in the apartment. The kitchen has its own door to avoid kids coming in when preparing food. Everything was great. Hope they still maintain 2 free parking for the spacious apartment. We had a tiny quarrel with the parking guy everytime we want to go out.

my family enjoyed the weekend getaway, contactless registration, controlled swimming pool access (need to book upfront to minimize the crowd). clear refence who (detailed person) will take care of the room by housekeeping. the apartment itself is large to accommodate the family, the bed is probably super king size. amnities were excellent, we like the coffee maker.

The room is exactly as per photo description with great housekeeping. Stayed for a week and basic amenities like kitchen, utensils, fridge and microwave really came in handy for simple cooking as well as food storage. Coin launderette availability is a plus for a quick wash and dry, while waiting for our laundry at level 22 we enjoyed ourselves watching the city view next to the poolside. Suria klcc is just a 3 minutes walk and the hotel do have convenience store for basic need purchase. They do have Starbucks vending machine available too! Ascott room, location, amenities and convenience really makes you feel like home.

my family & I had a wonderful 5D4N stay at Ascott.. we chose the 3 Bdrm premiere to accommodate 6 of us comfortably. the pictures posted on the website were true to the actual condition of the hotel amenities and rooms. Ascott staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Room service was prompt and housekeeping was impeccable. The central but not busy location make Ascott very convenient too, we could just walk across to get to KLCC & take a stroll to Pavillion via a covered linkway. Our room on the 12th floor also had good view and no external noise from the traffic. we will definitely choose Ascott in our future visits to KL. Thank you Ascott.

This is a great location with Suria KLCC mall just opposite the hotel, plenty of eateries and attractions surrounding the hotel. The room was big and clean. It has a dining area and kitchen with sufficient equipment.
However the service leaves much to be desired. The lobby was very warm and check in took almost 30 minutes. No drinks was offered to make guests more comfortable. When asked about the heat, apparently the air con was not working. The line was so long and no one was coming out man the third check in desk.
Two of the towels in the room were stained. When I called guest service, no one was picking up the phone despite many tries.
Breakfast is served in the room because the pandemic. Which is fine; however during check in I specifically asked for 2 adults and 2 kids but we received 4 adult meals in the morning. When I called back it took them another 20 mins to bring the kids meal and the housekeeping actually asked back for the 2 extra meals. Not only did you keep my kids waiting but you expect me not to give them food when they are hungry.
Lots of improvement on service required.

If you desire a home away from home with lots of space, great amenities, wonderful staff and of course a location within walking distance of everything the wonderfully vibrant city of KL has to offer, then look no further than the Ascott Kuala Lumpur. This is my second stay here and I highly recommend it for anyone from singles to couples and families. The Ascott has everything you could possibly want in accommodation from spacious and well appointed apartments, an onsite spa and business facilities, to caring, happy and informed staff. The location is superb being within walking distance of major retail, entertainment and dining attractions but is not as busy as the main Bukit Bintang hotel and shopping area. I will definitely be staying here again as this is my new home away from home.

It has always been like a 2nd home whenever I come to KL & staying in Ascott.

I have a good staying experience in Ascott. Ascott located in a good location which just need to have 3 mins walk will reach KLCC. It's super convenience. I am glad that I reached hotel in weekdays which not much client proceed to check in, so that I did check in within 10-15mins. I also managed to proceed for early check-in at 2pm as I arrived early than what I expected.

Unless you want to wait for your room for 3 to 6 hours, it is best you avoid this hotel completely. There are literally tens of people waiting to get their rooms but all the hotel manager could say is our rooms are not ready. We arrived at about 4pm and we only managed to get our 2-bedroom apartment at 9pm.
We are certainly not the exception but this seems to be the norm for this place. If not, why would the hotel prepare seats outside the lobby since there are just too many people in the lobby all waiting for their rooms. It was chaos throughout the time that we were there, waiting and waiting for hours.
