Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park, part of the IHG brand, garners praise for its prime location close to city attractions and its exceptional cleanliness, with many guests commending the housekeeping team. While opinions on value diverge, the hotel's locally inspired rooms and stunning city views are often celebrated, despite some decorative and maintenance critiques.

Nice hotel for value for money with its nuances. The style of decoration - eclectic, as in all hotels of this chain, may not be to everyone's taste. We had to wait about 2 hours to check in, even though we arrived at 3:00 p.m. - checked the room for a long time to make sure it was all right, which of course upset us from the road. However, the FO Jay employee took this into account when evicting us and allowed us to use the pool after checkout time - which is nice. Also among the downsides can be included loose curtains - blinds, total darkness in the room you will not achieve anything if it is important to you. So goodbye to a good night's sleep. A separate downside is providing only 2 bottles of drinking water per room, although we didn't take the cheapest room category. It's just an unacceptable grudge for a hotel of this class. Drinking water had to be purchased through a delivery service, which took up additional time and money. A ridiculous dressing room configuration that is incredibly small. Uncomfortable safe. Breakfasts are scarce, the tables are messy, there's no oatmeal, the omelet is not good, the butter for frying is poor, there's no quality butter, the emphasis is on local cuisine and she's on the amateur. Fitness club - small, no sauna, relaxation area.
Pros:
Great location. Step accessibility of twin towers and TV tower.
Very friendly staff ranging from doorman, all security, FO staff, cleaners to restaurant staff.
The pool - it's overlooked, though not the towers, large, and usually not crowded. We can have a great time.
The servant, the crockery storage area in the room - very pleasing, creates comfort, thanks to the lighting. A beautiful set of cups - separately under coffee, separately under tea-te-tarik, very pleased.

Stayed here for 1 night staycation and managed to arrange an inspection. Good service by Crystal and her front office team made it very welcome during check in. Room size is quite big and room deco reflect our local baba & nyonya heritage. Thats good considering the hotel is owned by an international hotel chain. Will definitely come back again.

Hotel is a dream come true! Impeccable service, sparklingly clean, great breakfast, stunning rooms and decor!
The hotel is setup with great details to design, usability and class! We checked in early, we were upgraded to a KL tower view room and were just wowed the moment we entered the room!
When I talked about great service, let me give you an example. We went to the reception and asked for one of our food packets (ready to eat food) to be heated, the service person insisted that he will bring the heated food to the room, and then he arrives not just with our food packet, but with serving spoons, plates and a few bottles of water. That's truly expecting what we would need and thinking for the customer.
The décor in the room is drool-worthy and the turn down service is very effective. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is lavish to say the least. We did have limited options as a vegetarian, but it still was good enough!
Only complain i would have is the breakfast menu is very confusing, adding different rates for hot breakfast and for a juice. Was totally unsure if things were included as part of the breakfast or they had to be paid for. I was there during christmas, and it was a bit of craziness with so many people around. I am sure the service would be 7 star on any other day !

The service was very good from the pre-booking inquiry to check-in. They also accommodated early check-in and late check-out, and were excellent front desk staff who even gave me travel advice that I liked. They were wearing a different uniform from the general staff, a green one, so I think they were probably a supervisor. Thank you very much.
However, I was very satisfied with the room that I was assigned to, which was a connecting room as I requested, but the room had a series of problems.
As soon as I arrived at the room, the sink faucet blew off with great force the moment I turned on the water, and I got soaked all over.
After three hours, the maintenance finally came, but I was told they would be there soon, so I waited in the room, which greatly disrupted my plans.
And although it was attached to the wall, there was a lot of water leaking between the wall and the faucet, so I was afraid to use it. I'm sure the next person who stays at the hotel will have the same experience... I was surprised at the reaction of the staff, who did not do anything to recover from this and acted as if it was normal.
Next time I tried to take a shower, there was no hot water this time. I had to call maintenance again, which took time, and they said it was "fixed," but no matter how many minutes I ran the water, there was still no hot water.
The other room got hot water right away, but I wonder what would have happened if it hadn't been a connecting room.
So I planned to do some sightseeing in the city during my short stay, but in the end I only had dinner. Of course, there was no recovery, and it seemed like an everyday occurrence. Even though it's Southeast Asia, it's a shame considering the hotel's category.
The Wi-Fi connection was poor and unstable, and it didn't work at all from early in the morning, and it took several hours to get it back up.
The hotel is supposed to be brand new, but the floors and furniture in the room were covered in scratches...
The menu and interior of the breakfast restaurant are compact, and the taste doesn't seem to be commensurate with the price.
Perhaps because of this, there were almost no other customers, so it wasn't crowded and I was able to spend a lot of time relaxing. I was a little surprised that there were no croissants.
This is not the hotel's fault, but the location is more than a 10-minute walk from the nearest monorail station, so I strongly recommend taking a taxi.
The slope in front of the hotel is steep and especially slippery after rain, so it is very dangerous to walk there with large luggage or children.
We only stayed one night, but so many incidents happened at the same time that we were unable to make the most of our short stay in Kuala Lumpur, and we regret choosing this hotel for our wedding anniversary. It was a learning experience.
The staff were all friendly as the reviews said, but if you ask whether they have the hospitality of a hotelier, aside from their personalities, only a few of them could. Everyone was nice, but...
It was a stay that made me feel that it was far from a 5-star hotel.
In Kuala Lumpur, a paradise for hotels, it is quite difficult to recommend this hotel.

Outstanding hotel (in its class) in a very good yet quiet location with originally and tastefully furnished rooms (the photos on the website do not do them justice, in reality they are much nicer), with a nice, albeit for tall people slightly too shallow pool with a great view of the KL tower (most rooms themselves do not boast great views though). Everything has an original design, this can go terribly wrong but here it didn’t. Ask for a corner room, they call it suite which is a bit exaggerated but it’s a very my nice, rather large room. But what makes this hotel outstanding is the professional staff who went out of their way to help us and make us feel better after four in our party of five had rather stupidly lost their passports and had to go through a bureaucratic nightmare to get a replacement. Excellent breakfast (ask for egg Benedict, not on the menu but they do it if you ask and it’s egg-cellent!) but the breakfast room can get very crowded if the hotel is full. Good restaurants within walking distance (e.g. an outstanding Thai just round the corner). Room service food was also very good but not exactly at lightning speed (50 minutes wait for a club sandwich with fries). The bar on the 24th floor has great views but in the evening the lighting is like in an airport terminal (cosy it ain’t) and there is a rather limited choice of (good) cocktails. However, these minor issues can hardly dent the overall excellent impression, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is brand new and superstylish with nice rooms and beautiful rooftop pool with a lot of greenery.
All our requests were fulfilled and we received generous upgrades (IHG Diamond). Staff was nice.
Both the Premium Corner Room and the Suite was very comfortable with great views to KL tower. Soundproofing are not so great, you here some traffic noise through the windows and some noise from the corridor through the door but fortunately both room categories comes without neighbouring rooms so we didn’t hear any guests next to us 🙏🏼😅
I read some negative reviews about the breakfast, well indeed it was not a big spread, we always found something to eat but the staff was not so proactive, they didn’t take orders - we had to go to the bar asking for tea or coffee. (machine was out of order)
Location is good, but there is no covered walkway to malls so it’s challenging when it’s raining beacuse you can’t get any ride with Grab for such a short distance.
In general we had a nice stay and would choose the hotel again👍🏼

Loved our stay at this very stylish boutique hotel. Lots of quirky and unique decor.
The rooms are very comfortable and the design is excellent. We loved the Congcak within the dining table!
We were on floor 12 and the views good, can only imagine they are better on the higher floors.
The Breakfast Buffet is hands down the best we've ever had, so many selections, so well presented.
We dined at WokStar and thoroughly enjoyed it. We did not dine at Silver Monkey but we did enjoy a cocktail there - we're planning on dining there next time :)
We stayed in a King Suite with our son and whilst this was OK for us now, it won't work in the future. We would love to see the addition of a family room (a double or queen and a single/bunk) OR a sofabed in replacement of current sofa's (can't move the cushions on these).
The location is an easy walk to many great places: Forest Eco Park, KL Tower, Petronas Towers, KLCC Park, Monorail, Train Stations and Bus Stops.

First, I am a fan of the Hotel Indigo brand, so when I can, I would stay in one.
Was curious about the KL edition so I booked the corner room in March.
First, room and common areas are gorgeous. The service I encountered was great too.
The breakfast spread is good and varied, the servers are warm and helpful, but the kitchen staff were probably too busy to be friendly.
The location is maybe not great for tourists. Yes, you can order a car to get anywhere but it’ll always take forever to arrive. And forget about taking a stroll around the neighbourhood. Indigos are all about the neighbourhood. They always seem to find the trendiest or most intriguing locations. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel compelled to explore here.
Also, as they were fixing something along the driveway, cars are diverted to the carpark. But signages were unclear and not prominent, so those arriving for the first time may get lost (like I was). The security staff manning the area didn’t offer help. Not till we approached them. If cars are still being diverted there, perhaps the hotel needs to place a front desk staff there? Or maybe clearer and more prominent signs.

It was a short stay to transit before i moved to an apartment but I wish I had not left and extended my stay instead. Love the whole concept of the room, the pillow was a fond memory of my childhood cause it was represented as the five stone game, and there was a built in congkak on the table which they provide the marbles on one of the cabinet. The room was a beauty and we were provided a comp upgrade to a high floor and we had perfect view of the menara kuala lumpur from our room. Service was excellent too! The night receptionist took his time to explain on the facilities to ensure we were well informed. Didn’t get to try the breakfast, but will definitely come back to try them. The security personnel at the driveway is always helpful and very welcoming too!

Stayed here for 3 nights. After read the reviews here. Decided to stay here.
Pros:
1. Parking is totally Valet Parking. The Staff will drive your car in the lift to bring the car to different floor of car park. Only the staff will be allowed to enter to the car park. If you concern to keep your car key with them. You can ask them to let you keep your car key. (Parking fee: 20 Ringgit/night for guests who stay in )
2. Hotel is clean and new since it just opened last year.
3.Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.
4.Hotel location is good.
Cons:
1. Sound prof is not so good. If you want to have a good night sleep. Can easily hear people walk around on the too floor. Even you can the guest put a glass on the table next door.
We had this issue for the first night. Luckily the hotel staff Luke came to our room and heard the noise in our room after we complained it.
He was trying to help us to solve this problem by offering us the corner room. We went to see the room. Found out the corner room has two big windows around the bed. Although it's bigger room, still can hear the motorbike passed by. It's partially facing main road.
We decided not to change the room.
Other than noise, everything is fine.
