The Hotel Royal Signature has the perfect location for our needs. As we have been to KL many times we don’t go for the sightseeing, we go to relax, eat and drink.
The hotel is a 2 minute walk to Jalan Alor and a 10-15 minute walk to Changkat Bukit Bintang where there are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. There is an excellent Chicken Rice shop and also a trusted money changer on Bukit Bintang and within 5 mins walk.
We stayed for 8 nights and had a superior room with breakfast on the 16th floor.
From check-in to check out the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no complaints about our room, there was enough storage and we could also get access to Netflix. There is filtered water available in the bathroom, 2 bottles of bottled water each day, a can of Coke and a can of juice provided free daily in the mini bar, kettle, Nespresso machine, safe, and toiletries. As we had to check out at 6.30 am the hotel provided us with breakfast boxes (salad and meat croissants, sweet pastries, banana and juice bottles).
Our daughter also stayed at this hotel, and she did have some problems with the air conditioner not working properly, however, they moved her to a different room (twice) without any problems. She especially wanted to thank Brendan and Eryka at reception who personally made sure the air conditioning was working in her last room.
Breakfast was a buffet style, with all the usual offerings. There was always enough food, even when very busy, and very very tasty. We would like to make special mention of Chef Mohd Shafeeq Shahrom Nuwi, who looked after us every day with smoked salmon, and all the other staff who assisted us.
The pool area is excellent, if you enjoy the sunshine, as it is mostly full sun all day. There are two small problems with the pool area, there are only 7 sun lounges, for a hotel with over 400 rooms. Having said that, we went everyday after breakfast and always managed to have a sun lounge. The other problem is the sun lounges themselves, yes they are modern and pleasing to the eye and shaped in a leaf pattern but not practical or comfortable. You cannot move any part to allow you to sit up and read (nor watch children in the pool if required), and they have a bar through the middle which makes them very uncomfortable. They need to invest in some more lounges of standard design.
I noted a previous review where they complained about the lifts, there are 4 but only 2 are operational as they are waiting for them to be delivered from Germany. Yes you had to wait sometimes for a while, but being on holidays don’t get stressed.
All in all, loved this hotel and will definitely be back.

I had previously stayed in the area on many occasions, but since this hotel had undergone extensive renovations, I thought I would give it a try. And I was very pleasantly surprised. The room I was allocated was on a high floor with a good view, and was airy, clean and very well appointed - I thought the special filtered water tap a very nice touch. The buffet breakfast catered well for their main clientele and I was delighted with the options, particularly the Malaysian dishes. The location is excellent with easy access to numerous eateries (including Jalan Alor), shopping outlets and malls (including BBCC) and to the monorail at Imbi a few minutes easy walk away. And first impressions count: the staff at reception were very helpful and friendly when I checked in and throughout my stay. I look forward to staying there again in 2025.

I checked into Hotel Royal Signature on 28th May 2024, stayed for 2 nights.

Initially the room allocated, the height of the bed was high, for my family member.
Eyka (Guest Experience Manager) immediately switched my room, whereby the room was easily accessible, being a special needs room.There was no waiting, at all, to switch rooms, arrangement made for assistance, Eyka knew my family's requirement and confirmed it. There are handle bars to hold on to, in the bathroom.

On both days, Eyka greeted us, at the breakfast table, we were able to have a genuine friendly conversation. My family and I were comfortable to continue with the conversation.

My family member liked the Espresso white cup in the room, Eyka ensured this was made available, on check out. My family observed Eyka went out of her way, to arrange the cup, specially packed, her effort is valued.

The hotel staff, image is good, noted Eyka was well groomed with hair, make up and uniform. At all times communicated with us at eye level, with smile and laughter. Eyka carries herself at a professional level, works on a business owner level with humbleness.

Overall, we like the prime location on Jalan Bukit Bintang, our room had118 and KLCC view. Shops are accessible.
Shops are close by, with available parking at the hotel basement level.

We have recommended family and friends to stay in Royal Signature.
Hotel is spacious, brand new, heightened ceiling, rooms have ample space, very clean and affordable.stay.
Swimming pool and gym area, lavatory/shower rooms looks new, attention to detail given to the flooring.
Swimming pool could be made special needs friendly.

Royal Signature Hotel is a great property smack in the middle of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Check in was a breeze, deftly handled by a friendly receptionist.
Our room , a Deluxe, was compact , comfortable with enough acreage for two persons to move around with ease. A cushy, large double bed , big enough for two adults to sleep in comfort. A counter top , doubling as a work desk/ table , Sofa/divan , if you are in the mood to simply lounge in the room , watching TV or doing whatever pleases thee ...
There is a mini fridge to cool a few bottles of lager ... or water , even orange juice or whatever drink you must have fetched from the 7-Eleven across the road ( or KK store down below , just outside the hotel.
You even have a little safety deposit box for temporary storage of your valuables , including the second Omega you carry ... and the wad of 100$ bills 😎
The bathroom is fair-sized, sufficient water pressure and the hot water does not "stall" .
Toiletries, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush etc are provided without having to ask for ...
WiFi is very good .
There is a kettle to brew tea or coffee and a coffee maker.
Daily stock if cold drinks, bottled water and noodles 🍜 yep, great tasting noodles ,..
The hotel serves a filling and healthy breakfast. One has a choice of both Asian and Western cuisine.
Service is top notch , simply excellent .

Misses: hotel under renovation , only 1 out of 4 lifts working , need to wait at times.
also on the third day , was woken up by unbearable stech of paint thinner coming out from air vents , wen to change room.

Hits :Location is great , quiet end of Bukit Bintang main street, only a few mins walk to the malls and busy areas, across the street from food street jalan alor.
nicely decorated, modern, clean, good WiFi, Aircon, water .
lots and lots of plugs and usb outlets .
big spacious rooms , enough to fit many luggages, good noise barrier .
front desk staff friendly and helpful , Norainini helped me promptly to change rooms, and brought me up to check the new room to make sure it was free of paint thinner smells.
would come back , (after renovation finished), enjoyed my stay!

This was my second stay in this hotel. The first stay was in August 2024. At that time the cleanliness of the housekeeping was already poor but I thought since the hotel is undergoing upgrading, they may have some teething issues. However during this stay, we booked 2 connecting rooms, the cleanliness have further declined further. Bedsheets were torn and pillow cases were stained and dirty. I accidentally spilled milo onto the table and despite after housekeeping, it was never cleaned. We had trouble trying to fold the ironing board back to its original position but the housekeeper kept it as it is. Hair on the floor near bedside was never vacuumed. The wall decorations, clock on the table were all full of dust. Toiletress were never replenished in the bathroom and we had to call each time. Overall the cleanliness is 1/10. Even the bath robe was with some stains. Front desk hotel reception were friendly but at this rate, the rooms are certainly unkempt and if no improvements are made, it’ll be hard for customers like me to return again.

I can't stop thinking about the amazing experience I had at the hotel! The pillows were unbelievably fluffy, and as soon as I entered the room, the spaciousness and the refreshing air-conditioning blew me away. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and I can't forget to mention the Nespresso machine in the room and the tap-filtered water - such thoughtful touches! And the lobby smelled incredible! I'm already looking forward to my next staycation at this wonderful hotel.

Mandy, Nyna, and Ija provided an outstanding breakfast experience with their helpful, friendly, and professional service. My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights after a trip across Malaysia and we were not disappointed! The room is spacious, clean and smells lovely, the AC is great and has many options for every preference. The breakfast offers a variety of dishes for all tastes, whether you prefer a European breakfast or a typical Asian one. You can have fresh fruit, eggs baked any style and waffles, just to name a few things.
The facilities are brand new, we enjoyed the gym very much, it has great equipment and all new. We were showered with attention by the staff who made any wish possible - from quick laundry services to late check-out.
One other highlight is the location! It is within walking distance from the Jalan Alor streetfood market and all the central shopping and dining areas. This saves quite a bit of cash on Grab taxis.
You will be entertained every evening by street musicians and the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
We loved it here and cannot recommendit enough!

This hotel was renovated in October 2023 but is still a work in progress. There is a smell of concrete in the corridors and only one set of lifts (elevators) is working. Location is great: only 2 mins walk away from the bottom end of Jalan Alor (Food Street) and a 5 minute stroll from the big crossroads at Lot 10/Bukit Bintang.

Our two rooms were mixed, one had a great city skyline view overlooking the new Merdeka 118 tower, the other was on the same floor but directly facing another hotel building so room was dark and curtains had to be closed all the time for privacy. On the Saturday there was a lengthy power cut (over an hour) so everyone was stuck in reception and unable to get to their rooms but they gave us a complimentary drink. On the Sunday our rooms weren’t serviced/cleaned. The welcome messages on the tv both referred to other guests’ names for our entire stay which was weird. Oh - and MYR 150 deposit (cash or card) was required on arrival.

This hotel seems to mainly cater for Asian guests. Staff were friendly enough but not quite to international standards if that makes sense! When the renovation work is completed, this has potential to be a very good hotel.
