Reviews summary

Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur has received a mixed bag of feedback from guests. While the hotel's location is praised for its convenience to public transport and attractions, there are some concerns about nighttime safety. The service has shown inconsistency, with staff behavior ranging from commendable to disappointing.
The rooftop pool and breakfast diversity are highlights, yet issues with noise and parking have been noted. Room opinions are divided; they are recognized for their cleanliness and views but criticized for size and poor soundproofing. Overall, cleanliness throughout the hotel is consistently applauded.

Detailed Reviews
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. We arrived at 2:30am in the morning but was promptly checked in and our luggage’s delivered immediately. Room and beds are slightly small but they are well designed and have a modern Scandinavian feel. Room and bathroom were both very clean and amenities were provided. Breakfast had a large variety of food to suit everyone’s taste, I was quite impressed! The location is a bit far away from the main shopping and attractions but this wasn’t a problem for us as we simply took a grab everywhere and it was very cheap too. We did not have time to visit the gym or pool areas. If you aren’t planning on staying in the hotel the whole time during your trip, then this is an excellent choice. The value for money is unbeatable. I will definitely return with my greater family in December!

The Santa Grand is only a few years old and is basically brand new .
Location not bad about 10 minute walk to monorail and free GOKL BUS (green line ) to Bukit Bintang and free GOKL bus (blue line ) has a stop in front of hotel so getting back from city centre is only a ten minute free bus ride .
The Roof top pool is very nice and has a spectacular view of KL and all of its iconic buildings
Rooms are a bit small but well designed and cozy
Bed and pillows very comfortable but bed is only queen size .
Room has good soundproofing didn’t hear any other quest and AC perfect
Breakfast is mediocre and food bland tasting and this hotel is very busy so at breakfast you have too many people crammed into not a big enough space trying to grab food before it’s gone .
If you aren’t paying a lot extra for the breakfast go for it just to get some coffee juice and corn flakes into in the morning.
Overall I would stay again here because the price is very competitive I think a good deal and it is a very popular place for tourists to stay .

New hotel and very swish and comfortable with a nice rooftop pool. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was considering we only paid £45 per night including breakfast. Centrally located and an easy walk to Petronas Towers and other places to visit in KLCC.. We got there early and they are happy to store your bags before check in time if you want to explore the city.
If you want to stay close to the action
in a very comfortable hotel whch doesn't break the bank the Santa Grand is ideal. Also recommend the hop on hop off open top sightseeing tour bus as it takes you to all of the.main sights and you can stop off at the ones you like the look of.

Not bad for what it is but the rooms are quite small in comparison to other places. The rooftop pool has amazing views of the KL tower and the Petronas. It's a good location for the metro but it seems it's not in too nice an area as there are a lot of homeless people around at night which wasn't very nice as a solo female traveller. There were tea and coffee making facilities but it's always with creamer and not milk. They provided 4 bottles of water a day which was really good. Breakfast was good with a good variety. There are only 6 sunbeds at the rooftop pool and 4 chairs. The chairs are under glass so you're not in direct sunlight. There are a few tables for a drink and then there is the sky lounge with the most work shy guy working in there I have ever known. It was like playing cat and mouse and he was so blatant about not wanting to serve anyone it was ridiculous. As soon as he saw you coming he would quickly shoot out of the bar and then you'd be waiting ages for him to reappear which he did once you walked out so you would have to rush in there again. I tried to order food and I was told Card or cash and I couldn't put it on my room which just seemed so stupid that I didn't bother. I asked for a piña colada and ended up with the most watery crappy drink I've ever had. The picture on the menu was the furthest from what I had been handed. A friend asked for a mojito and that was crap too. The guy didn't want to be there and was even eating a plate of food whilst taking orders. He really shouldn't be working there. The lifts are a real pain. There are only three so you are always waiting for them. Then there's the weird water noise that sounds like a water slide. Every room has this huge vent in the ceiling and when anyone has a shower or flushes a toilet it sounds like water is gushing into your room. The walls are paper thin and the beds are pretty hard. Also there are two very small steps in the bathroom that I fell down numerous times. They are so small and so hidden and they're not just in the room they're in the toilets at the rooftop pool too so be very careful. The bathroom is so small you have to tuck yourself around the door to close it. I was in a room by myself but there's no way two people could fit in here with any comfort.

I booked this hotel for my city trip to Kuala Lumpur and am really happy with the price-performance ratio.
Location: In my opinion, the hotel's strength lies in its location. Centrally located in a quiet, safe and relatively clean area, the "subway" station is a 5-minute walk away.
Room: I was also very happy with the room. Large room with a huge shower (bathroom in general very nice!) on the 17th floor. The room was a little noisy, but that wasn't a problem because my room neighbors were quiet.
Pool: Great rooftop pool with an incredibly beautiful view, which can also be used in the evening. The only drawback: There are only 6 loungers there (probably due to a lack of space), which were actually always occupied when I was there. But I don't think anyone would choose this hotel for a wellness vacation and it's completely sufficient for cooling off in the evening after sightseeing.
Breakfast: Unfortunately, I have to deduct one point from my rating for the breakfast. There is only toast (no other type of bread found), one type of jam/ham/cheese. There would be a larger selection if you had already eaten chicken, curry, rice and salad etc. in the morning - but that is not to my taste. The waiters were also unfortunately not very helpful (except on the day when a small card was used to ask whether you were satisfied with the service). There was no response to my request for a new salt shaker (the one on my table was empty), and the clearing was very slow, so that only a few tables were free because they had not yet been cleared/wiped down/re-laid.
All in all, I was very happy with this hotel and would definitely book it again for a city trip.

I have travelled to many countries and I have to say being the first time in Malaysia this hotel was the worst experience I have ever experienced:
Firstly after a long and tiring flight we got no welcome drinks and the staff at reception were very rude and arrogant. We paid for a city view room and got a tiny back room ( not even enough room to pray) and said they would change it for us later on. We went to the desk everyday and were just fobbed of saying there are no rooms available. We met a few couples who came after us that said were given city view rooms that were much bigger.
Worst part about the stay was I accidentally made a duplicate booking for the same days not realising it was an online error. I cancelled it straight away and when I checked in at the hotel I asked the receptionist she said you have only been charged once. I then checked my account and had been charged twice for the same nights same person! I emailed Agoda and they said the hotel had already taken the money and to sort it out whilst I was there. I showed Mr Azier the duty manager the email but he was so arrogant and rude and said well its our hotel policy we can't do anything. I emailed Agoda again and they said they had contacted Mr Azier refused to waiver the amount. I went to see him again and he said its agoda not us sort with them. I was going round in circles with him for 3 days and he refused to give me managers number or email. On the last day of my stay there I managed to get hold of the general manager Abdul Qayyum and he promised to sort it out and fobbed us of once again with an email and phone number that are out of service. He told us the hotel does not get paid until after 15 days so the agent have the money. We have checked with multiple companies and have been informed that the hotel are responsible not the agent and so they lied to us to send us away before refunding the amount! It has now been 10 days since I have been trying to contact Mr Qayyum but have had no response from them whatsoever.
My first time in Malaysia and have big regrets for having stayed at Santa Grand signature they ruined my only days I had in Kuala Lumpur.

+1
A large modern hotel with an excellent location (close to the monorail and metro stations), stylish interiors, developed infrastructure, high level of service, gorgeous views of the tallest and most famous buildings in Kuala Lumpur, an excellent rooftop swimming pool and well-equipped rooms - with everything necessary for quality rest and a trouble-free stay. In addition to free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar, safe, tea set, hairdryer, slippers, bath amenities, complimentary bottles of water, the room had an ironing board and iron - a very popular option after a flight. Judging by the number of guests in the lobby and restaurant, the hotel is fully occupied. Therefore, breakfasts at KapitanCafe on the 3rd floor were crowded, and it was not immediately possible to find a free table even with the help of the manager. The choice of dishes was varied and sufficient to keep both vegans and meat-eaters, both those with a sweet tooth and those on a diet, well-fed and satisfied. In the evenings there were problems with the elevators; sometimes we had to wait for a long time, because climbing the stairs to the 15th floor is not an easy task. But since we were not in a hurry and were not late, we patiently waited for the elevator and eventually got to our room. Our departure was in the evening, and after checking out at noon, the concierge kindly took all our luggage for storage. As a result, we walked around the city and shops lightly, and then in a special washroom we had the opportunity to change clothes for the flight, which was convenient. We were very pleased with our stay at Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur. And if fate ever takes us to Malaysia again, we will only stop here

This hotel is in a great central location with easy access to metros, shops, restaurants, local attractions and markets.
We had a suite which was spacious, well serviced and very comfortable.
The dining room did get very busy at breakfast but this tended to be when a coach party arrived on an overnighter. Lots of choice to eat and the local Rendang was particularly good. The temperature on the hot food could be improved on though.
All the staff we dealt with were very helpful, efficient and polite and particular thanks goes to the Concierge for all his advice and for arranging the safe keeping of some luggage whilst we went to Singapore.
I would return and would recommend.

Walkable distance to Dang Wangi LRT station & Bukit Nanas Monorel station. If you prefer walking, KLCC & Bukit Bintang is still considered close to this hotel, because that's what we did. I like that its location isn't busy, yet still near the places i want to go. The hotel seems new and very clean. The towels and linen were clean too. Check in and check out was easy, they even allow us to stow our luggages in a storage room after checking out while we go around the city before heading to the airport. They also have netflix, which is something i seldom see in hotels. It was definitely a lovely stay!

We spent a night at Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur, a hotel that boasts a 4-star rating and, in our opinion, rightfully deserves it.
The rooms were clean and the bedding felt fresh, although the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was well-equipped. However, during our stay, there was an issue with the hot water supply. It's worth noting that the rooms do not come with a coffee machine, which was a bit of a downside for us.
The hotel's pool area offers a side view of the Petronas Towers, although it can get crowded during the day. The bar area near the pool provides a lovely view, especially in the evenings. The hotel also features a gym and a sauna.
As for breakfast, it was decent, but there were a few missing items like porridge, tomatoes, cucumbers, and honey. The omelet selection was simple, made only from eggs. While you won't go hungry, the limited food variety might become monotonous after a few days.
The service we received was both pleasant and professional, with staff always ready to assist. Importantly, everyone was proficient in English.
The hotel's location is convenient, close to the city and opposite a park, with a few shops nearby.
In summary, Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur is a great choice for short stays, perhaps one or two nights. However, for an extended stay, it may not offer the variety and amenities you'd desire.
