Booked a suite via webjet, from 8Jan-20Jan. I never received any booking confirmation from Urban Suites or any dialogue so contacted them via phone 4 months prior to my arrival to ask if I could please have a suite with an amazing view as this was my first Malaysian trip, I was told I couldn't contact them too early and to email them with my request. Sent an email and was told they'd do their best to accommodate this. 2 Days before my flight departure I hadn't had any dialogue so contacted webjet to ensure my booking was confirmed which it was, so sent my arrival details to Urban Suites via email. The only dialogue after that was via WhatsApp. The room i arrived to had a terrible view, no wifi, no hot water, an uncomfortable bed, loud air con and only 2 tv channels which I couldn't watch properly. After multiple complaints via WhatsApp and asking to be moved to another room after 6 days I was finally moved to a room which deserves a 5 star rating but due to those first couple of stressful days I had to be true to this review.

We spent three nights in the Swiss garden residences and were happy that we could walk easily to the China town, the Twins Towers as well as to bus or bus stops nearby. The support from the staff was also very useful. We would have no issue to stay in the premises again in the future.

Hit and miss. It's our second stay here and overall the experience was good but not astounding. Check-in felt like we were interrupting the busy day of the operator who continued her conversations in Malay with other staff members (Regrettably we are not local language speakers so it was off-putting)

The room was showing signs of age but the bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was good.

This dilapidated tower behind the Swiss Garden Hotel seems to be a series of unconnected homestay businesses. We accidentally booked this through Expedia.

Be aware that the photos on both Trip Advisor and Expedia are from several years ago. The foyer is dirty and not air conditioned. The floor common areas appear to have never been cleaned. I am not joking.

The restaurant in the photos is abandoned. The ‘extra bed’ we paid for was a dirty mattress behind the (dirty) couch. The pool has about half the tiles missing. The room was in a state of disrepair as per photos below.

Do not expect any hotel type services here. Even the car park attendants did not know of the existence of the particular business that we had booked with.

This may be all OK if it were priced accordingly however it was close to full hotel pricing. I fear however that this review will not help anyone as all the homestay bookings cleverly call the place something different!!

Two stars for being in a very excellent location but do yourself a favour and just don’t.

This is by far one of the worse experience ever
When we first arrived they didn't even know we were comming though we booked and paid in advance.
The elevator was scary and unstable
Even the reception had worn down chairs.
The room was not clean and the beddings smelled
The bathroom ceiling was very dangerous and could have fallen any minute and the air vent was not working and they said that all bathrooms have no vent which was not true
When we complained they wanted to come and fix the ceiling of the bathroom while we were staying highly unprofessional.
We wanted a refund they refused and moved us to another room which was available while they gave as the one with dangerous ceiling.
A little not that much cleaner. The bathroom vent was working and that is how we knew they did not tell the truth the first time we asked. In the new room the couch was over run squeaking and broken and extremly dirty, the bedroom airconditiiner not working and wakes you up with noise, the ding table chair was broken which they neglected to change with note that only two chairs were available of which one was broken.
Terrible terrible experience.

The staff were not friendly and pleasing. We requested a microwave to heat up some hot water for medication in the morning and they refused. The staff cannot speak English and it's very difficult to communicate with them. The reception staff did not have maps or directions to nearby restaurants or transportation. We were disappointed with this hotel.

I stayed at the Time Square Hotel a few years ago in a premium room. Suddenly one day I came to the room and found that instead of cleaning my room housekeeping was opening my original bun bag. I immediately say his name and he doesn't answer. Later, I changed the hotel by telling the above matter.
The interesting thing is that a few days ago when I was at Hotel Swiss Garden Hotel, there was no room 801 on the eighth floor. I am shocked,, I saw that boy working there too. He didn't recognize me, but I did.
I want to know the name. Said,, Rumi,, I changed the hotel immediately with DND the next day. This is my bed day.

We had stayed here many times in the past but we did not know that the residences had been sold and to say the place had gone downhill was an understatement!! We were given a room that stunk of cigarette smoke and as we are both nonsmokers there was no way we could sleep in that room! the next room didn't stink but the kitchen tap was falling off the sink, the microwave didn’t work at all, the lounge was covered in a blanket that needed a damn good wash and there were tiny little ants everywhere, I had to go and buy containers to put any foodstuff we purchased in containers which of course would be left behind so the ants couldn’t get into the food, and there are NO SAFES in the rooms anymore.
I went down to the desk and was told they had never been safes in the rooms, excuse me yes there was as I had stayed here many many times in the past, I asked where can I leave my cash when I am out of the room??? only to be told to carry it with me in a rude manner!! plus there is no longer breakfast included as now it has been sold the Swiss Garden Hotel has nothing to do with the residences anymore so we had to go and buy a toaster so we could have at least toast for breakfast as there was not one in the room, as much as I love local food having noodles for breakfast is not my thing.
We were there for 2 weeks and in that time no housekeeping was done at all, we had the same sheets and towels for the whole time!!
Would I ever stay there again?? HELL NO

I have stayed in the residences 5 times earlier over the last couple of years since 2014. But it has been taken over by a company called Maple Home and Swiss Garden has nothing to do with it anymore. I was in shock how bad and run down it became. What a dissapointment! The staff at the reception were friendly but it is all not professional. The photos on Agoda are from years ago and the appartment doesn't look so nice any more. It needs a total refurbishment. The place is not clean, the floor was very dirty. There were ants and cockroaches all over the place, on the kitchen bench, in the bathrooms and we even found them in the beds. The bathroom walls were full of mould. Paint was peeling off everywhere. The aircon in our bedroom was leaking so badly that the floor was flooded so we needed to turn it off. After complaining two guys tried to fix it but it didn't help. After informing the reception again after a day they luckily fixed the problem. You could see on the damaged floor that the leak was not a new thing, must be leaking for a long time. The couch in the living room collapsed when I tried to sit on it. One of the feet was broken. The television was malfunctioning too. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke. There is no city view, we were looking at a big building. We asked for some clean towels after a couple of days but they were not available so we had to wait until late afternoon. A couple of positive notes, the internet worked very well, the shower pressure was great, the beds were comfy and the swimming pool was nice, but bring your own towels, because they are not provided. Definitely avoid this place, there is much better accommodation in the area for the same or even a cheaper price. We checked out after 4 nights and moved to the Robertson Residences around the corner, so happy we did, much better place!

Checked in a apartment had a major toilet leak and it was so disgusting.
Then we were asked to move rooms in the middle of the night and no one bothered to even help up with the luggages.
On both the rooms we were offered there was either an Air con not working or issues with the bathrooms.
In the end at mid night since we just couldnt be bothered, we settled on one room.
Would absolutely not recomend anyone to stay here.
Check in process was also a night mare.
