Booked 2 bedroom premium apartment for 3D2N and it is very spacious, which makes it comfortable for my kids to roam around the apartment. It is our repeated Somerset apartment booking within Malaysia as their maintenance is up to date so far and the cleanliness is up to our standard. The reception served as well with warm smile. It would be good if parking to be free for hotel guests, otherwise it would be charge at RM10/entry or hourly basis (whichever cheaper if you check via autopay machine). There was a slight cock up with our luggages where communication from the reception to the concierge was not well known (i guess). Waited for quite some time and we ended up went back to lobby as they were unable to confirm our luggage via the phone. Despite 2 bedrooms, the common bedroom does not have TV. Thus, either watch TV at the master bedroom or living room. As part of hygiene issue, we would suggest that all dustbins to be filled with liners or rubbish bags. Other than that, i would say it's a good accommodation for family. Don't mind coming back due to centralised location, next to Linc and Intermark Mall. Short distance to Tapak and less than 5 mins drive to Bukit Bintang, KLCC area.

The residence had all that we needed for four nights in KL, especially the washer/dryer was a great thing to have after a little over a week in Malaysia. Also liked the view from the bathroom. The location is good, although it takes a little walk to get to any shopping or restaurants. The swimming pool itself was good but the small number of lounge chairs by the pool was a big disappointment: there were only five of them and they were all partly in the shade all day long. Sometimes had to wait a long time to get one. The breakfast was also quite lame.

Superb room of big 1 bedroom deluxe with full house amenities like cooking utensils, full sized fridge, microwave. Also a bathtub with city view window is special. Another plus point is the infinity pool at rooftop with a beautiful sunset view upon KLCC. The parking lots have direct access to rooms which eases luggage transfer once checked in and complementary for hotel guests as well.

Rooms are decent tho the interiors are slightly old. The major let down is the belligerent attitude offered by the staff during room service call, we requested extra towels and toiletries but was snapped by the staff on the other end of the phone, questioning our request with a hostile manner saying that they have already provided 2 towels in the room, of course I know but there is a reason that I am requesting for extra ones right? At the end of the day, they sent up the towels reluctantly but conveniently ignore my other request of extra toiletries, when asked why isn't the toiletries being brought, the bellboy refuse my request yet again saying no toiletries shall be given until the next day. Does this hotel even understand the essence of hospitality? If you want to be stingy then don't regard yourself as a 4-5star brand, maybe because it hails from Singapore(Ascott), that'll explains the calculative culture. Anyway you just lost a potential returning customer and your Ascott reputation because of a few bottles of shampoos, good for you.

This property is located centrally, only 12-15 min walk from Petrona Towers. The rooms are spacious, fairly clean and with nice view. There was overwhelming cigarette smell on our floor despite the property being smoke free. We felt the smell initially even in our rooms but it went away after one day as we used AC. There is a good restaurant next to the property. If you don't need luxury and have a big family this could be a place for you.

Stayed here for 3 weeks(more or less..12/9-25/9)... The room was very comfortable and clean (have everything that I need) unfortunately the service was bad. Some of the staffs were friendly... Some were not so friendly. I have not been informed that the pool was out of service and I only being told that they will have disruption of electrical power supply for 6 hours after I booked this hotel for 3 weeks. So I need to be somewhere on Sunday for 6 hours ( kinda annoyed) the only complimentary service I can get was a shuttle service to klcc.. (duhh). Sometimes I also need to call and ask for cleaning service ( as they don't clean the room every day). During my stay there, they were renovating something ( I guess must be the pool) so it's kinda loud. (And again ..they didn't tell me about this thing when I booked the room)
Ohh.. and I also need to pay for parking ... It's RM 10 per exit.. I'm not sure whether I want to stay here again. Service sucks but the room is nice tho

I always suspect ratings and stars awarded to Malaysian properties are manipulated. This property look good upon entry to lobby but upon entry to room there was a real daggy smell. One would have thought that the property maintenance people would have made sure that the place was freshened up as guests were expected. There were no warm flowers as in the photos. The pool area although had good views but it needed a better cleaning all around the area and made cozier.

This visit have completed my stay of Somerset hotels across Malaysia. Like always in all Somerset hotels are the hospitality of the staff from the cleaner to front desk and doormen always treats with smile and warmth gesture. This Somerset in particular have a bathtub for 1 bedroom deluxe executive which we have stayed. Big washroom and big rooms with location nearby KLCC and 10 minutes to my current house. Spectacular night view over sunset at large pool and clubhouse floor level 22. Definitely to consider if appreciate view and big hotel rooms complete with washer/dryer.

Very centrally located, with shuttle buses to central KL, a short walk to the Linc and Intermark malls, and also a short walk from Ampang LRT MRT. The most impressive part of the hotel has to be the rooftop pool and gym on the top floor, with panoramic views across KL from there. Rooms fronting Ampang road are dark, overshadowed by the adjacent Embassy high-rise building. One bedroom room came with small kitchenette, dish towel, dish washing liquid, knives.. quite comprehensive. A washing machine allows you to do laundry, if you so wish. Crockery was mismatched and missing one bowl, but I would say this is not an uncommon problem for accommodation of this type. Small problem of ants in the counter, which never really satisfactorily resolved. Room decor was a little bit worn and dated but perfectly functional; housekeeping standards were very high as the room was sparkingly clean and serviced daily. Reception service friendly. Small breakfast counter on ground floor, with what looked like takeaway bags, a vending machine outside for small consumables but posh grocery store opposite. Overall, stay was OK, but tailor expectations and check prices.

I stayed in Somerset in December 2019 and I booked One-Bedroom Deluxe for my 3-night stay. 53 sqm is already a bit spacious for me since I always travel alone. One-Bedroom Executive, however, is just a bigger version of One-Bedroom Deluxe. One-Bedroom Premier is the biggest among all the one-bedroom types. All the rooms have the same features and amenities except that Premier has an additional room. It’s the only room type that has a separate study room, which you can convert to a bedroom if you have an additional guest since it can accommodate an extra bed.
