1. Hotel do not provide free car park (per admission charge RM5) 2. Bad customer service, they fail to provide reply or update as promised to guest (my email or enquiries was ignored) 3. No room service (they did not inform guest during check-in and we have to call to ask for room service) 4. Room’s floor are dirty (so better wear your own sandals in room) 5. Hotel told me swimming pool was closed for maintenance but I saw other guest using the pool. So it’s either the communication break down or they did not observe a good SOP. I gave 2 stars because It’s convenient location near to Bangsar South and Mid Valley.
Pros: smooth contactless checkin, price is cheap, nice swimming pool, great service. Cons: room is very dirty, can see coffee stains, food stains on blanket. Toothpick on floor, spiderweb everywhere. Sofa is smelly! Bedsheet were thrown on the floor and put it back to bed although promised will change.
In short, AWESOME for the price paid and I simply couldn't ask for more. We went to stay at Komune Living during our short trip to KL. The location is good, as it is located right between KL and PJ and have reasonably good access to public transportation (LRT through both Kerinchi and University stations). The room, albeit a little small, is simple, cozy and comfy for a couple. However, the hotel is not perfect with no problem. (1) The parking spaces are rather limited - we returned to hotel at approximately 9.30pm and had to park at the 2nd lowest floor at the basement car park. I went down to my car to collect something at approximately 10.30pm and the parking ran out. Guests who returned late had no place to park their cars. (2) The crowd during the check out hours is crazy and would clog up the lifts. On my 2nd morning of my stay and when we were about to leave the hotel to tour around KL, we realised that the queue simply to get into the lift lobby at our floor was ridiculously long - and guests in different floor face the same problem (we found out about that from other guests on our way walking down the stairs from our room at the 26th floor). Granted that the crowd may be caused due to the year end holiday season and Covid-19 restrictions, but it is no less shocking and caused no less inconvenience. That being said, Komune Living is worth every penny and there is no hesitation that I will return again. 18-20 December 2021 Komung Living, Bangsar South Kuala Lumpur MALAYSIA…
Pros: The room and building design is nice. Facilities such as game room, public kitchen, vending machines, gym room and swimming pool are available. But we can't enter gym room by using our room access card. Cons: There were yellow stains on bedsheet and sofa. And also every lift is full of people (more than 5 people) during check-out time, no SOP at all. If check-out time is 11am, you need to leave room at least 15mins earlier as it really takes more than 15mins to wait for the lift.
The check in was super smooth. Room was beautiful and comfortable. The TV sound had limited. Luckily i got the last room at 24th floor and the view was great too. No shops or restaurant nearby, still need to driver/walk from the hotel. FoodPanda and GrabFood will take min 50mnt to complete your order. Do prepare your needs before reach the hotel. Overall one of the Recommended Hotel.
