Even I've recently stayed for 2 nights only this hostel was the best ever. Really nice deco, rooms and well equipped. I've been traveling SE Asia for about four years, it was one of the best hostel ever! Only 5mins away from the monorail station, walkable distance to some attractions (KLCC, china town, pasar seni..) But a bit dangerous to...

A hostel with a nice atmosphere and just overall great. Showers and WC felt fresh and had both hot and cold water, and the rooms (me and my boyfriend had our own doubleroom) were modest but clean. Comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very satisfied with our stay and would love to come here again!

Definetly the best hostel we've stayed. The rooms are very comfortable, with lockers and closets. And the bathroom is nice and clean... The location is perfect, right beside the masjid Jamek station and walking distance to China Town and other attractions. The breakfast is simple but pretty good.

Good modern design, very clean and chilled. Helpful staff. Good wifi (weaker in rooms), breakfast quite standard but with good condiments (Kaya jam.. yum!!) great locations and lots of recommended activities.

Stayed at the Homestay KL for two nights during Thaipusam, and was very pleased. The hostel was very clean, shared bathrooms were large and had many toilets/showers. Not to mention, the staff was so kind and welcoming. Delicious Coffee shop attached to Backhome too. I would definitely recommend it

Did you manage to catch the Thaipusam procession, Iker U? We really hope you did as this happens once a year and is a big Malaysian event. We'll also definitely pass on your compliments to our team. It's always a big motivation for them when they learn that our guests appreciate their work.

We stayed here for three days. We were a little unsure because it was our only place on our vacation with shared bathrooms. This was not a problem though, because the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice, and they offered some different outings to go on. My only complaint would be the pillows seemed a...

The kaya is a very popular breakfast spread among our guests. We're happy that you enjoyed it, Antturn. Thank you for highlighting the issue with the pillows. We'll get straight to work to sort that out!

One of the best hostels to stay in Kuala Lumpur, it felt as if I was staying in my home. The roof top bar is the USP of this hostel. The dorms are such that you will never miss your home. It is also perfect for chilling out and meeting up new people.

Thank you for your compliments, Pankti S. However, the roof top bar is located at Reggae Mansion which we normally recommend guests to have a drink and hang out as it is less than a minute away from where we are.

I stayed here for two nights and it's absolutely great! The dorms are really nice, the beds super comfortable and the staff is friendly. The breakfast in the morning includes cereal besides toast and there is free tea and coffee all day. Only downside/reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bathroom was quite smelly, especially the...

Backhome hostel does everything right, the layout and ambiance really makes you feel at home. The kitchen has free cold and hot water for coffee, the movie room has large sofas to laze in, and the courtyard is a perfect blend of quiet and socializing. The staff is excellent and the jalan jalan street food tour was epic. We can't...

This hostel is my favorite hostels! The rooms are stylish, spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you with anything. Breakfast is simple but the homemade kaya is delicious. I am going back for sure!

We'd love to have you back for sure too, Lauravs91. The homemade kaya is sourced from a really small local auntie who always makes it fresh. We love her kaya too, which is why we want to share it with our guests at BackHome :D
