Round the corner from the road with the street markets, round the corner from the bars, round the corner from the train stations. Convenient to everything. Very helpful with a personal touch - loved it but then we prefer this type of hotel.

You worry slightly when your taxi counter say they have never heard of your destination and even more when you are in the actual street and neighbours don't recognise the name. However, this tucked-away little gem was well worth the effort to track down. The design concept is strong, our room at the front with a small balcony was delightful...

This hotel is conveniently located in a neighbourhood with lots of restaurant and bar options. You can easily reach it by public transportation using the Monorail to Imbi station. The interior is great and our room was quiet and comfortable. Only problem was that the air conditioning didn't work properly the first night, but the staff fixed it promptly after...

Needing fast wifi, I made the rash assumption that a hotel in this price bracket would be more than good enough. Unfortunately it was very slow (by the hotel staff's own admission) and I had to check out and move somewhere else (half the price - Classic Inn - very good!). Also, the hotel is really built around the spa,...

Angunn Boutique is the perfect combination of quaint decor and modern amenities. Add to that the very helpful staff and the great location in the heart of Bukit Bintang, and you have a winner! I have stayed here twice and would love to come back to this hotel any time that I am back in KL.

nice little boutiue hotel. room was pretty spacious and location was a gem. just right behind the busy streets of jalan alor. however, the shower curtain in the toilet hardly managed to keep the floor dry. and water leaks out of the piping a little. otherwise the spacious toilet was actually very clean. lastly, the busy mamak shop beneath tends...

I started off my Malaysia Trip with three days at Anggun: I was a little worried about the location to begin with but it turned out to be a great place to be. Anggun is a nice hotel with loads of character. Check in was a nice experience, and the breakfast was lovely. All our needs were met and any...

Perfect location and a real oasis in the middle of messy and noisy Bukit Bintang. You can reach most of key points of interest in KL on foot or quick taxi ride from the hotel. It's a simple hotel in nice Malay style and with friendly staff.

This was a very cute boutique hotel in a great location! In a small tourist district, easy walking distance (< 2 minutes) to many bars and restaurants as well as Jalan Alor. You can also walk to KL Tower and Petrobas Towers. It's close to hotspots, but is quiet and safe. Room had ample space, a small closet, and a...

Really liked this place. Had a budget deal on one of the classic rooms, but if we went again (which we definitely will if we go back to KL) we'd be tempted to book one of the deluxe rooms. The hotel is located in the Bukit Bintang area, so perfect for shopping, entertainment and getting around the city. It's a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An oasis of style and calm, this is one of KL's most characterful traditional boutique hotels located in Bukit Bintang, within 1 minute walk to the shopping malls, world-famous Jalan Alor hawker food street, restaurants, 15 minutes walk to Petronas Twin Towers, KL Convention Centre, Chinatown and 10 minutes drive to KL Golf & Country Club. Rates include free WIFI in room and whole hotel, internet broadband connected to LCD TV in all rooms and breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. Recently featured in CNNGo as one of the best 4-star boutique hotels in KL! Converted from two 1920's shophouses, most of the rooms look out onto a peaceful inner courtyard. The decor is incredibly tasteful, without sacrificing comfort levels for the sake of style. All the guest rooms have beautiful, handcrafted queen size teak beds, wooden furniture and wooden flooring. And the decor is traditional Malaccan with a contemporary twist. It has a lovely atmosphere. Why: Location, location, location. Authentic and delicious Malaysian food is minutes away; the city's best night life, within staggering distance. The shopaholic within will be duly fulfilled by city's highest concentration of malls. The Anggun's unique look and feel is a definite departure from big-chain homogeneity, perfect for the urbanite leisure or business traveler looking for an authentic and modern way to spend their time in Kuala Lumpur. ... more   less
