Without a reservation I still was able to get a comfy night sleep and able to extend for 3 more nights! Sheets are fresh and clean , bathroom's hygienic and location is just around the heart of KL !!!

I was here 18 months ago, and this place is still comfortable, cool and clean. I returned mainly because of the location and the price, which were just right for me. I was only after a safe and comfortable place to sleep in KL; who wants to be stuck in a hotel in this great city? Reggae is close to...

I chose this place as it had good reviews. Everything seemed great when we first arrived: cosy enviroment, nice staff, neat private room, good amenities etc. Until, we woke up at about 12.30am and I was frantically itching believing it was mosquitoes. When I turned the lights on there were a number of different sized bed bugs crawling over my...

Was only here for a couple of hours as straight away we spotted bed bugs. First it was only one and we hoped it was a one off but then there were four. When we went to ask to move rooms another couple were checking out due to bed bugs. There were no more rooms available and we ended up...

The place is alright for the price you pay. Wasn't too excited to see a dead cockroach in our room the first night. The entrance way smells of feet and the whole building has a weird stench to it. Washrooms are alright, nothing special but sanitary standards could be a bit higher. Stay here if you can't book a room...

Stayed for 2 nights in a 2 person bedroom, turned out to be a 2 bunk dorm (no window). Very small room with a good bed. They serve free tea, coffee and toast with peanut butter. Showers are good. It's value for money (only 35 ringet, about 7,5 euro) but not a real special place. I don't know if I...

We booked late so couldn't get a room at our preferred hostel, Reggae Mansion, mainly because this was the Grand Prix weekend. But this hostel is okay. It has very good wifi and the rooms are really clean even if it has no windows. In agreement with others though, the entrance hums of wet dog. Showers and toilets are the...

We booked two twin rooms, one of which (Room 2) had bed bugs. We informed the staff who said they would change the mattress, which they didn't do, and one of the girls in our group got multiple bites. When we confronted the manager in the morning about the problem his reaction gave away the fact that he was clearly...

Stayed here for about 10 days. Nice clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, free wifi. Very convenient location; close to the bus station, LRT station, GO KL bus stop, Petaling street, Central Market, Merdeka Square, Reggae Bar, etc.

If you don't mind an entrance way that wreaks of feet, a windowless room, a TV with no channels, ankle deep water in the bathrooms, and bed bugs cozying up to you in 2nd hand sheets then this is the place for you! It's not all their fault, every hostel in this area is infested with bed bugs because tourist...

“some of their room has no window, but who darn care about window, you'll be sleeping 3 or 4 hours at night since they have the coolest roof top bar at reggae mansion (walking distance from this reggae guest house 1 and 2) and they have reggae bar downstairs with pool table and the next day you'll find yourself exploring surroundings since this place close to many must-visit spots (bukit bintang, art market, central market, viharas, chinatown, etc.etc)”

“Dorms are tight for space but comfortable. Its probably better to book a private room to ensure you get one.”

“Always book in advance see many people get turned away as they were fully booked. Also try and stay in Reggae Guest house 1 as its a better layout and more helpful staff. Has the added bonus of the bar below.”
