I checked in paying in advance for a 4 night stay. I had problems with so many bedbugs in room #13 and then #8, I couldn't sleep much. Later I found that it's a problem they have many times, in most of the rooms, but they seem to do nothing about it. I moved to a cleaner hostel but they...

We travelled to Green Hut Lodge for one night which was purely en route to Singapore from Sri Lanka. The ONLY good thing about this place is it's location being only a 10 minute (if that) walk from Lot 10. When we arrived (after a 40 odd minute walk from the Bus Station and very hot etc) we walked in...

and when we got there the owner/manager suddenly wanted 15RM more per night for a room without any windows pretty close to the bathrooms. In the end we got a room with windows, which had nothing in it but two single beds... and we had to pay more than the price agreed on over the phone. That annoyed us, but...

It was really busy to stay here. Within one night, I got more than 100 bites and killed at least 13 bugs on my bed. Torch is a necessity because you need that to inspect your bed and find out all bugs to kill them.... Not much use because there are more bed bugs on the floor, mats and wall....

This hostel is full of bed bugs!! I had to stayed in this hostel in 2007 because all hotels were booked during public holiday(except expensive suites) this is definitely the worst hostel we had ever stay! the room is small, has no window, the shared toilets are dirty,no table,no chair, nowhere to hang my clothes, dark ,share air-con(there is a hole between...

The room we had was basically a cell, no power sockets, no window, not even a picture on the wall. The room smelt and the bed was full of bed bugs. The whole building seemed to be infested and many people were sleeping in the hallway to try and aviod them. Location is good and the price was low but...

Definitely not the best hostel we've stayed in but not the worst either. The rooms contain nothing more than the beds. I spotted one bed bug crawling up the wall so we left the next day to stay at another hostel. Sorry I can't remember the name! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was standard. The location was...

We stayed at two different hostels in the Bukit Bintang area of KL. I liked the Green Hut Lodge most. We just stayed one night but the stay was good. They had a special so it was 56 RM for a private double room with shared bathroom. There was free internet and the typical toast and tea/coffee breakfast. The lady...

A good place to stay if it wasn't for the bed bugs. Pros: Fantastic location in The Golden Triangle (dining + nightlife right around the corner) and within walking distance of both KL and Petronas Towers. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. Free wifi and breakfast (Only enough to just get you started, but plenty of places do great breakfasts nearby)....

“If you're an early bird and go to bed earlier in the evening you may want to ask for a south side room as it is a busy area with bars and restaurants surrounding it. Twin rooms and doubles are the same price (great for those who are travelling in two's)”
