We stayed for just 2 nights but really should have stayed longer as it was one of the most amazing hotels we have visited. The suite was spacious with a large walk-in wardrobe and incredible views of the whole city including the iconic Petronus Towers. The hotel is on the 51st to 55th floors of a skyscraper and we were on the 53rd with the restaurant and bar on the top floors . The restaurant served excellent breakfasts and we also had dinner both nights here as the food and service was so good . You can either eat inside or on the terrace outside subject to the weather . We can’t fault this hotel and it’s located opposite the Pavillion Shopping mall and you can walk inside all the way to the Petronus Towers without going outside into the heat and humidity . All in all one of the best hotels in Malaysia. The only fault we could find was the absence of towel rails and pegs for dressing gowns which is obviously something they need to correct .

Banyan Tree is by far the best hotel in my opinion in the KL City Center. I have stayed here a few times already and every time I walk into your building I’m immediately greeted by your staff and it make me feel really at home. When I got to the lobby at level 53 I was greeted by my name and they were expecting my arrival. I’m really impressed by that and checking in was a Breeze no issue at all.

The room is wonderful and I really love the vibe, the ambience and how comfortable it make you feel when you walk into the room. I can safely say that your rooms looks the best and feels most comfortable among all the 5 star hotels in KL. I have stayed in all of them but in my opinion I love the Bnayan room the best! I had some slight issue with the room this time when it felt really warm when I walk in and the aircond wasn’t working very well. I informed the staff and they came to fix it. Not a big issue. What I like is later on your staff at the front desk called to check if the issue is resolved. I like that you do follow up with your guest to ensure the issue is resolved.

During this time with the virus still out there, I felt that the place in the lobby, lifts or the room are clean and I do feel safe staying here. You are provided with mask and also a small bottle of sanitizer. In the public area you can find hand sanitizer readily available as well and we do see everyone wearing mask in the public area.

I do face a small issue where I requested for some toiletries but I think your staff forgot and didn’t deliver and we have to called again to request for it. The next day when we are having our breakfast, one your customer service manger actually came to talk to us and apologise for the overlooked on the toiletries and I’m really surprised that you took note of the mistake and cam to apologised the next day. I have never Experience this before. Bravo for the great customer experience.

Breakfast is at Horizon and the view is fantastic. You can have your breakfast with the Twin tower view. At this moment there are no buffet breakfast and all is ala carte. You can order as many food you want from the menu and I think the choices is very good.

Check out there was some glitch I’m afraid. I was charged for the laundry and also I had some credit which was not deducted from my bill until I highlighted to the staff. I think you should be more careful with this and this is a mistake that you should not be making. My room comes with complimentary laundry and your system should be able to know these things. Not a big issue but something that perhaps you can improve on.

Overall we had a wonderful Banyan Tree experience and I’m already looking forward to my next stay this coming year end. Thank you for the wonderful experience and keep up the good work!

Very nice hotel with excellent service no matter during check in, house keeping, concierge or lobby guards. Located conveniently to access to Pavilion mall with indoor bridge, safe and easy. Without much traffic even to get into this hotel in down town. Worth recommended to return.

The bed is comfortable and the water pressure for shower is strong even in high level floor.

The top floor sky lounge both outdoor and indoor serving and the afternoon tea restaurant Altitude are all facing stunning KL city view.

It is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The rooftop bar offers amazing views across the city and great photo opportunities. It does get very busy on a Saturday night. The rooms are well furnished with very large bathrooms incorporating a dressing area. There is a mini fridge and coffee pod machine. There is an "aroma burner" in the room which they come to light around 6pm. Annoyingly, this is usually when you are in the middle of getting ready for dinner. Some people will probably love this, but I would prefer that they left a diffuser in the room instead. I would have no hesitation in staying here again if I was in Kuala Lumpur again.

For our anniversary we decided to get a quick night out without the kids and splurge a lil after the long lockdown.
From the start to end we received nothing but stellar personalized service. The room was classy, but the bathroom and bathtub was the real draw where you could bask in bubbly steam with the picturesque view of KL's skyscrapers. (50 floors up, whaddya expect!)
Walk to Pavilion Mall took 10 minutes via a directly adjoining bridge.
Had dinner at The Horizon in the hotel and it seemed like they had a mantra of 'cook to surprise' so all dishes were pure joy.
Breakfast had no buffet in lieu of SOPs, instead you pretty much get to choose everything ala carte, freshly prepared. Particularly liked the Egg Royale that came with raw salmon.

Highly recommend for locals who want to feel like tourists for a quick getaway!

Though I am not usually a fan of staycations as I never feel like a getaway unless you are traveling out of the city and usually more hassle than fun, I am pleasantly surprised by the experience during my stay. Location is great as right next to Pavilion Mall and easy to get to.
What was even better was that from the minute I arrived for check-in, I felt like I was at a resort, away from the city’s buzz.
Kudos to the friendly front office staff namely Bryan and Arianna.
For the first time I did not have to worry about the view as you can’t really go wrong 53 floors up.
Loved the bathtub with the view and room is spacious! Many nice touches in the room especially the burner and the incense with the scent of the day and his/her amenities.
Too bad the terry bathrobe which was so comfortable was not for sale😛
I particular liked that everyone was attentive yet never intrusive. They just seem to appear at the right time to assist with ease :) I was never asked for my room number or name throughout my stay even at the Spa which I had booked separately.
Food was great as well, the lamb was very nicely done.
Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Myself and my friend love Japanese food so we always wanted to visit Ebisu but due to MCO, I was worried it won’t open. But after hearing Ebisu has opened in Banyan tree, I thought it would be perfect for my friend’s celebration on promotion and we went for it! Being there first time, we were very lucky to meet Executive Chef Filippo who recommended perfect sushi courses and drinks. Each dish had perfect plating, taste was so fresh and high quality. Find Chef Filippo if you can. He and his team are humorous and knowledgeable enough to make your table more pleasant when you are not sure what to eat. Recommended by the chef, we went up to Vertigo after dinner to enjoy great night view with cocktail. It was a perfect day with great food, atmosphere, people and view! If you like Japanese food, you can’t miss Ebisu!! Thanks Banyan Tree!

I had a great time at the signature sky retreat level 55. The view was fabulous facing the iconic KL tower, a bit of the twin towers not forgetting the KL skyline. Another best bit for the room is also the tub with full ceiling glass walls facing the KL tower. Simply breathtaking for a couple retreat.

The management team Ms Siti Zahriah who was accomodating my whole stay was very wonderful & helpful in my stay there. She even set up to put up a simple beautiful room deco for my welcome there.

The breakfast at the Horizon Grill is simply delicious. Breakfast was made to order per guest even though it is a buffet meal. Expect a hot & fresh meal everytime! The jr sous chef Haniff was there to entertain & even cook for us the whole time we were enjoying our breakfast.

I would definitely recommend people to lodge & dine & i would definitely come back soon!

I always thought Banyan Tree has a minimum standard that they keep but I'm truly disappointed with my experience there recently.

First of all, they have very bad sound proofing and I can hear creaks from upstairs and outside of the room. They installed some machine that emits this humming sound that really disturb my sleep.

When it comes to the room, the toilet doesn't flush properly and the side panels of the toilet keep falling off. When I tried to use their comb, it came out with mold. They did try to change it when I show them, but the second one was filled with spider web. The rain bath doesn't have hot water even though I tried to turn the heat knob up.

We visited Vertigo for drinks and snacks. The sliders they served was tasteless, the belacan chicken was overcooked and dry. Even the promised shoestring fries from the menu turn out to be more like wedges.

I am not sure what happened and I hope it's an isolated case of unlucky me.

We were originally booked in for 2 nights however due to the coronavirus we were only able to stay for 1night. We were lucky to experience the amazing hospitality every member of staff had. It was like coming home to family, everyone was happy to help and no request was too much.
Special thanks to Alli from front office who helped us with rebooking our flights and just being someone to listen to us stress whilst doing what he could to keep us calm and positive. There was another gentleman next to Alli whose name I didn’t get but was also so lovely and friendly.
The bar was incredible and cannot be missed when visiting! I also recommend going for breakfast, despite the heat I sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful views of the Petronas Towers - wow!
I love how attentive even the food and beverage staff were, all acknowledging me made me feel so important and welcome.
Banyan Tree KL is not just a hotel, it is an experience and not one to miss. Thank you everyone!
