If you love hip nightlife area, you might consider this hotel. Budget hotel around Namba area and close to dotonbori as well. Lots of food stalls and shopping arcade. I requested non smoking room, but somehow there was a mistake and they give me smoking room. When I complaint, they change the room to non smoking room.

Good: services, location Drawback: room is old ====================================== Room stayed: Single Room (non-smoking, 10m-square with attached bathroom) Room rate: 6480yen/person (weekend) with free simple breakfast Location: About 10mins walk from Namba Subway/Nankai station. Near to Osaka Takashimaya. Restaurants, drug stores and convenient stores are all around the area. Front desk staffs: Speak English very well. They are helpful, friendly and...

Took a family room in this small but well maintained hotel. It's tatami mat room makes it larger than normal hotel rooms. Location is conveniently near shops, restaurants and train station. Got here from Kansai Airport via Nambai Nangkai train and walked 300m to the hotel from train station. Downside is the construction next door is quite noisy although they...

The hotel is located at the East side of Nanba station of Nankai line and it took just four minutes from the station to the hotel. There were lots of the restaurant around the hotel where I could eat Osaka's local food. The location was convenient. The room was small and old but clean. Free Wi-Fi was available but it...

The staff of Nissei are friendly especially those who can speak Mandarin. Although it locates in a quiet street, it is in close proximity to shopping and dining district, I did read the hotel reviews from TripAdvisor on Nissei before my Osaka trip and had high expectation on it. Yet when I got to my room, I was a bit...

If you're just looking for a place to stay that is convenient and affordable, look no further—Business Hotel Nissei is the place for you. It is not the fanciest place to stay at, but it certainly will do. The location is fantastic as it is located right in the middle of Nanba. Sennichimae is just outside the front door, Dotonbori...

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the Dōtonbori canal and Denden Town district. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The room size was ok, I expected it to be even smaller. It was clean and I had everything I needed. I could not make the Wifi work though. I think the room...

The hotel is near everything. The train is walking distance. There is a near mall. And when you go outside the hotel there are a lot of restaurants. The free breakfast is fair (bread, juice) for the price of the stay. There is also free water at the lobby. We just encounter small problem, when I am borrowing the key...

Stayed here for the last 3 days of our trip. Fantastic location in the small alleys on the side of Namba Nankei Station. Heaps of small hole-in-the-wall bars and restaurants in the area. Also walking distance to shopping in the long malls (walking streets) of Osaka, and shops in the station building itself. Small hotel, friendly staff, free breakfast (although...

It's a really cheap hotel in a good location between Namba and Nippombashi stations, with lots of options for eating out. Kuromon Ichiba is 2 minutes away and a very nice breakfast option (otoro sushi anyone?). Takashimaya & Big Camera are 5 minutes away and Dotonbori is just a little further. The area is also safe and not shady at...
