I initially thought the place was small, but now having moved on to another place, it's comfortable enough for those with luggages. Pros: location is right next to a train station, reasonably close to one end of Shinsaibashi, eco option at the hotel is a good way to get some bottles of drinks Cons: none that really matter to me

The hotel location is great the staff are superb but spoke very little English. The room is just ok according to Japanese standard sizes. Still using typical keys for the rooms that you need to return to the front disk every time you go out. No drinking water in the room and no safe deposit box. But the real worst... More

I arrived at Ark hotel on my 3rd day in Japan after 2 days in Nara province. It was raining cats &dogs on/off and quite windy when i arrived Osaka. Quite problematic to look for the hotel. I lost twice and end up meeting a friend in his office. I managed to reach the hotel in the evening with his... More

Staff was friendly and the location was convenient. Biggest drawbacks were the fact that the place is very worn (stains everywhere) and that the beds were the hardest that I slept on while in Japan (including futons on the floor). Ok for one or two nights.

Good location, and comfortable room. As usual in Japan, you can't check in until after 3 pm, but they will store your luggage. Free WiFi. A handy 7/11 makes up for no provided breakfast. There is a small cafe, but rather expensive. The bed was rather hard, and the pillow even harder!

This hotel is quite standard for Japan. It's quite basic and perfect if you are on a bit of a budget. The beds and pillows are hard but you should be able to get some sleep. Hotel is clean and staff are very helpful.

I FELT Racial discrimination against foreign visitors. Staff keep pretending that they don't understand any English at all. which is why I... More

“Location is perfect for guests that don't want to be too far away from stations. You can easily get here even with luggage. The famous shopping areas are very accessible from this hotel, but if you prefer to stay within a few minutes' walk from the hotel when you shop, you can check out the Nagahoribashi underground shops!”
