A typical Mitsui propriety, so hotel follows the general standard of other Mitsui hotels in Japan.
Location is very interesting, just in middle of Osaka' business center, being more tranquil than typical Osaka' touristy areas, although the hotel provides a free shuttle to city central station (just 10 minutes by bus) and is about 300 meters to the nearest subway station.
The Onsen (Japanese bath) at last floor is really interesting and provides great relaxation after a day of business or tourism in the city.
General impression was somewhat good, however some caveats: i - some parts of the room (furniture, drawers) are already showing some tread and wear and ii - housekeeping was subpar (dirty floors and no change of utensils like spoons if not explicitly requested)...both items weren't significant to affect the overall stay, although management should revise those.

We used this one for our Kansai area base and found it reasonably good overall. Pluses are the value for money, nice rooms, friendly service, and the regular shuttle bus to Osaka station for JR connections. Downsides are the poor lounge experience as others have described. Don’t expect this to mean what it does at other hotels. Not staffed, no alcoholic drinks, no food aside from one or two nibble packets but also not allowed to BYO food, and a small fridge that regularly ran out of sparkling water which was the only thing we actually used it for. Also, the double beds are cramped for two adults to be sharing so some other bedding combinations for families would be nice. Staff speak enough English to get by but best not to ask anything too complicated or nuanced. Location isn’t particularly close to anything but quite central nonetheless and an easy walk to Higobashi subway station. Breakfast might be ok but we couldn’t be bothered lining up for a table. There’s an excellent cafe on the next block that makes for a great alternative in any case if you don’t mind waiting until 9 am for them to open.

This is another in a chain of Mitsui Garden hotels. The room is quite cramped with two people but typical for what we have found in Japan. The breakfast is typical japanese buffet. This hotel is in a business district, but they have a very reliable and punctual shuttle bus to and from the train station which has a generous number of restaurants and great shopping.

Stayed for 11 nights at this hotel. Overall a nice stay with friendly and helpful staff. Location is a bit far from main JR station but hotel provides a regular shuttle to and fro the train station, which works really well.
Rooms are a little small especially if you stay in their concept rooms. The double bed is smaller than the normal queen so bear in mind if you’re planning for 2 pax stay. Otherwise, it’s clean and tidy.
Breakfast is a little disappointing considering the small spread and mostly Japanese. However it’s worth dining there for dinner which turned out to be a pleasant dining experience as this cozy restaurant serves up quite a wide variety of dishes. Needs reservation though in order to secure a seat.

We were disappointed with our stay. We frist received a very dirty, smelly and outdated room. After complaining, we had to pay 6000 yen extra to receive a different room on a higher floor. The new room was average. We had to wait 20min to get a table for breakfast. The breakfast choice was very limited. Unfortunately this was an underwehlming stay.

I booked from a holiday two months ago and stayed 4/14~1 night.
I specified a premium floor with lounge access rights, but thanks to various discounts, I was able to stay for about ¥16,000.
· Comfortable interior to use without shoes in a large room.

Have been staying at Mistui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier for the 3rd time. Staffs are friendly. The river view never disappointed and such a great view to look at when you wake up. The Lounge is very spacious and relaxing after the public bath.
The location is very convinent to both Umeda and Nanba. There is a Metro Station near by, but it is also very convenient to walk to Umeda (around 15mins) where all the big shopping centres and food are located at.
However, when we checked-in to the room, it has a very strong odor (tried to open the window which helped alot), still has a little bit odor on the last day of our stay.
The location is very convinent to both Umeda and Nanba. There is a Metro Station near by, but it is also very convenient to walk to Umeda (around 15mins) where all the big shopping centres and food are located at.

Stayed here at the beginning of our multi city Japan trip with my 19year old daughter for 3 nights. We had a twin room with breakfast included in our package every morning that we enjoyed immensely. Convenient walk to metro station. Would happily stay here again.

The rooms smell of body oder and mold. The headboards are pelling and appear to be heavily used.
When we arrived for our 5 night honeymoon stay, the first room we were given had smelled of body oder and cigarette smoke. There were (3) beds and very little space. We contacted the hotel management, and we were given another room. While this one had more space, and only two beds, it had the same body oder smell. Fortunately, there was no cigarette oder in this one. Both rooms / floors are nonsmoking.
Update: The hotel manager had reached out to us after our stay started, sincerely apologized in regards to the inconveniences, and had sought to better accommodate our stay by preparing another room with a deodorizer machine. We opted to stay in our current room and to have our current room treated. They're actively addressing the state of all all the rooms; however, there is only so much that can be done at once.

There is a really good train that goes from the airport to Osaka station. Easy and cheap. From osaka station there is a shuttle to the hotel. Enjoy!!!

Its 2700 yen per person I think. There are better breakfasts for much less nearby. We didnt use the restaurant during our stay as Osaka is the food capital of Japan.
They supply spa shoes and an outfit for you to get to the spa but it is no costume area - we didn’t do it ourselves either but we’re also so British!!! We did see a lot of guests going to use the spa areas whilst we there.
I really do not know, because we was arrived a few days before to Japan, and stayed at Kyoto after visiting Osaka. Sorry.
